Is it longing for a family? Is he impressed with Sai's actions as a mother? Is is thinking what ifs would have happend in his life, with past lover?
I wish the show gives us some monologue on the Satya’s thoughts on these scenes.
Harshad emotes really well with his eyes and this would add to the story and scenes.

There must be multiple thoughts in his mind. Like he must obviously have thought about Girija, but then probably thought it's his wife's first time cooking in this house, she put in efforts to cook, so maybe thought he has to try it irrespective of his issue regarding the dish. And before the marriage he already said he admires Sai as a single mother, so yes, maybe that also 😳

Agreed, something even small would help. One of the issues the show previous fans is having the quick jump from Virat to Satya for Sai. I think this would build Satya's character and even allow audiences to connect more.
Like he heard such a big news of his mom's living family.
What does he feel? What about his responsibilities towards Sai and her two kids?
