The reason for Virat's reaction

I can feel for Virat in some ways. He was traumatized by how Sai left him years back and then he and his family had to go through hell. Also, he thought Sai was dead. He even thought he lost his son in the accident. So, this time he is scared that the same thing will happen. He doesn't want Sai to leave and regrets not stopping her previously and that is y he is trying to stop her this time. He is scared he will not be able to see Sai and their daughter again. His previous shock, pain and grief has taken over his sanity. For some reasons, I feel for him 😭

But even then i am happy that Sai isn't going to him so soon. Good for him. He chose Pakhi, and Pakhi the leech will not leave him 😂

Yeah, but even in his fear he is only thinking about Sai left and he didn't stopped her... But still he haven't realised WHY SAI LEFT? And even Sai did not gave the actual reason to reject him. What is this "I don't want to break someone else marriage" talk about the actual issue lady is waa because Virat choosing Patralekha Mohite-Patil Salunkhe-Chavan over Sai...

Your trauma can't be your excuse to abuse other

Get help if you are having mental health issues

Not really. While I get that past trauma doesn't excuse his behaviour, it doesn't mean it can't dictate it either. No one is excusing Virat, no one is saying that he is right in his actions or that he should be forgiven. Just that we can see what state of mind triggered his extreme behaviour.

There are instances (several instances) where Virat acted like a total jerk, but it is quite clear that his actions now are pretty extreme, even for him. He is not just acting harshly, but he is very frantic. His every movement is exaggerated and forceful. Where earlier he used to simply walk away, now he is blatantly pushing the person in front. Not just that, Virat now doesn't even care that the said person got physically hurt because of him. He is in way too much of a hurry.

This kind of behaviour shows extreme anxiety. He is basically hyperventilating. It was misogyny when he locked Sai before, it was entitlement when he got abusive simply because Sai refused his 'proposal' during their honeymoon. But this isn't either of those things. This is a careless act fueled by not his anger, but by his fear and desperation.

Whether he is right or wrong is a different topic entirely (and one that doesn't require much debate for it is clear he is on the wrong side here), but this post is mainly about his mental state. Why is he doing such a horrid thing that is only making the situation worse for him?

The reasons for Virat behaving the way he is are

1) He's male chauvinistic pig who doesn't respect women's autonomy

2) He's blinded by his power and position

3) Is in a dick-measuring contest with Satya in which neither Satya is interested nor participating.

Honestly, i wanted to see this side of V multiple times Sai left house as wife, starting from Pulkit lunch fiasco, ousting, post harinee birthday fiasco, didn't get that. He should have done this during that last decisive fight before Sai left with Vinu...he didn't, now his timing is wrong.

Now it's like he chose P, better he should live with her.

His fear of losing Sai and Savi because he supposedly has learnt from prior mistakes is NOT reflecting in his behaviour. years ago he rashly let her walk away saying absolute nonsense to her breaking her heart, her trust. now he is stopping her by being absolutely rash and crass.

Its one thing to be scared to lose them, not want to repeat mistakes but another to be downright abusive, uncaring towards everyone in front of him.

Ninad rightfully asked him- do you think you can win Sai back by this kind of behavior and he says- No. but this will keep her in the house so I can try. and that demonstrates his utter stupidity. if he knows that he is alienating Sai further by this kind of behavior why would he still do it?! its coming from his enttitlement. he thinks he should get what he wants pronto. if he says P goes, she goes. If he says, Sai come back, she comes back. everyone should just accept his command and do his bidding. well doesnt work that way!

Sai will only consider reconciliation if he handles things maturely and had approached this matter with poise, grace and having figured out solutions instead of increasing problems. if he knows Sai he knows that its not so easy to simply go say ILU and except her to come running back. If he is convinced Sai loves him and they should be together, why doesnt he ponder about why Sai would have walked away and stayed away all these years if she only loves him...surely that should tell him Sai has LOT of unresolved issues and instead of working on those things, he is trying to force her to accept his proposal by putting her in the position where she not only will be called home wrecker by P, Ash and society but also be hated on by Vinu. all the progress she has made to get the kid to let go of MU will be lost because of him throwing Sai into this mess without solving it himself keeping Sai out of it and dealing with P and Vinu first.

He has ruined the existing equations and status quo. P had come around to accepting Sai's presence in their life and Sai had accepted Ps presence in Vinu's. Vinu was finally happy, not scared and on the path to recovery. Savi finally had stability and all of this could have been kept intact if V had just been patient and mindful of his words and actions.

why he is in such a hurry.

If Sai is promising that she will stay in Nagpur and give him access to Savi, what the F is his problem?!

This kind of rogue behavior of locking someone up - especially a person like Sai who has been harassed, kidnapped etc and has trauma associated with such things- she will absolute detest this kind of behavior- how the heck can he stoop to this level.

he needs to understand that he is dealing with living breathing people who have their own viewpoints and to convince someone he needs to be calm and understanding.

why should Sai believe a word out of his mouth when she has witnessed all his deeds as Ps husband. Why would she so easily forget it all? why doesnt he understand what she's saying. what is this so called "love" for Sai when he clearly still doesnt respect her wishes or her choices just like he didnt when he forced her to accept illegal surrogacy, snatched her child, ignored her wish to NOT have P in their home after her actions were revealed. he doesnt even respect her basic rights.
