That's because makers wanted to keep Virats feelings under wraps. He was trying hard to move on but couldn't. P & family tried hard to make him guilty of not gving P her due & he was trying to suppress his feelings for Sai as he felt she doesn't want to be with him.

Not now but may be two three generations ago some men in the family would support whole family, follow every word of elders even when they didn't live in a joint family. Help other members of family financially. And while doing that they would ignore needs of their own family. Force their family to sacrifice for other members of their family. that didn't mean they didn't love their family. Putting their desires, wishes aside for family was the norm. Virat has similar mind set with mix of some weird form of selfishness when it comes to Sai. and ITV concept of mahanta added to it makes Virat an hated character.

Virat seen by family & Pakhi is fake mahan Virat who kills his real desire to be with his real family post leap.

I get that. I'm not talking about the narrative but his suppressed feelings didn't come out well after a point & in many places time to time also the acting, scene placements, misplaced expressions, ambiguous scenes made things go haywire. The amount of unwanted PakRat scenes they threw served no purpose instead making think he's drawing to P worst was the 8th December one!

Pakhi is sooooo mean and cheap in the precap.

She frames the jhumka of Sai's which she finds in Virat's pocket and places it in the living room. She taunts him that she will fetch all the kachra sai will leave and keep it in his pocket

Everyone is disgusted by her, ashwini is pissed off I guess. Virat is making weird faces. Sai finds that her jhumka is missing

Pakhi brings it back!! I think she will CA her :) but dont worry, her days are numbered 🤣

Virat finds Sai on the street. And scolds her left right and center. Asks her not to show herogiri. He is very wroried and freaked out too.

Sai asks him to mind his own business. it is her life. she will do what ever she wants. 🤣

Wow Virat raises his voices and says cant she think once if something happens to her , how will he LIVE...and then corrects and says. How will savi live 🤣
