Check those screencaps..anyone would think along these lines seeing those expressions and the way she snuggled the boy. The director should've corrected her instead of being afraid that she's ML's wife and PH's relative.

Not saying she made the child actor uncomfortable, but on screen , we can't help but suspect Patralekha the character's real intentions due to the actress's botched portrayal and emoting in the scene.

The character Patralekha is an established lunatic who lusted for her brother in law the entire time she was married , then successfully managed to break the said brother in law's marriage and post leap all she cared about was to bed virat (so many dialogues were given to show these intentions post leap). And she has been unsuccessful . And she has been shown extremely frustrated about that.

And Vinayak is not her son..she has no blood relation with the boy, she was hardly affected by his supposed death. Unlike his biological parents Sai and Virat who were grieving for years.

If the makers do not want the audience to think along these lines..either replace the actress who plays patralekha with a competent one who can emote or send the current one to an acting school.

I do agree that the actress is simply...not good, to say the least. Also, the director's at a fault, but even then in my opinion not that much. The scene, while it was not the best, did not look all that weird to me. It looked badly executed, but nowhere near what it is assumed. But I will say that this is fairly my pov.

However, I will say that people are taking this way out of context.

Patralekha's feelings for Virat, however sickening they might be, are in no way any implication towards her feelings for Vinu.

Basically what you are saying here is, Virat loved Sai, right? But still, even when he was married to her, he still sided with and spent time with Pakhi. And now he sleeps with her, right? And in the beginning, even had feelings for her even after she became his bhabhi.

So since he felt something for Pakhi when she was his Bhabhi, and now is ready to sleep with her...then I am fairly certain he shouldn't have any issue getting close to his Aai too.

See? That sounded disgusting, didn't it? Because it is disgusting.

Just because Pakhi felt something for Virat, and those feeling were wrong, does NOT mean she feels or can feel or must feel the same way for Vinu. These are two very different relations. We cannot compare them.

While it didn't really feel that way to me (a little weird but not sexual), I do agree here. Both Aish and the director need to do a lot of work to improve. I think it is more Aish's fault (I might be wrong, idk) because a similar scene was shot with Ayesha, and it didn't feel awkward or weird or, god forbid, sexual at all.

But the thing is...Aish gives these expressions to everyone. Literally. Everyone. Like, seriously...everyone...so, at this point, I don't know what we can even do here.

Firstly Virat NEVER considered patralekha his bhabhi, never even called her so. She was always put in the zone of pyaari cheez and he always defended her against her own husband Samrat. Sai and Samrat were confused with Virat's equation with Patralekha.

Even when Virat supposedly fell in love with Sai..he always put Patralekha above her, she was always his first priority. And that was not a brotherly love for bhabhi.

Yes, bhabhi maa samaan hothi hai..But Virat never ever considered patralekha as bhabhi..so this whole example you took to prove your point itself is wrong.

I'm not saying right now Patralekha has any questionable intentions towards Vinu. Now the boy is her obsession.

But then Virat was her obsession too and she went to great lengths to possess him. Yet she didn't get the happy marriage she dreamed .

Currently she's busy in the tussle with Sai, but if Sai gives up and leaves with Savi, the tussle is over. But Virat will never give into Patralekha's wants .

She's been established as a mentally unstable character with dangerous obsessive tendencies. What's the guarantee that her obsessions won't take a different form as Vinu grows up to be a young man ? Mann hi Mann mein even she knows she is not the boy's mother nor has any relation with him.

With the actress doing a horrible job of portraying Patralekha's emotions, people can't be blamed if they think along these lines. Today's scene was creepy and uncomfortable to watch for many..not just people here but many on Twitter pointed this out and those tweets had 40-50 likes. A good number of people felt the same thing, it means there was indeed something wrong with the scene.
