He has clearly stated he does not love her. Then why does he support, forgives, and protects this demon woman over his wife, He continues to do so even he if so called believes he was wrong. What is wrong with this man? He is the weakest, most misogynistic, flawed, useless husband, and a horrible portrayal of a real man. To have Sai not deserve better than this man and his horrible family is not respecting herself. This is the only man she has been with so she would not know any better, but hell you can recognize right vs. wrong, and abuse. Her husband cannot recognize none of these things due to the family he was raised in; she should not want this for her children. A family with no morals but cares about image, what a joke? He states he respects Pakhi a horrible person like himself. Is it it guilt for never keeping his promise to her? He knew her for what 2 days. It was lust get over it.

@bold: you answered it yourself...

Pakhi is female version of V, maybe worse, which soothes his ego and narcissism. She also goes to any extent to prove him right to get into his good books.

Sai, on the other hand, is a better human being, is too direct which hurts his huge ego.

Whatever P did, V was an accomplice some way or the other, so supporting P means supporting himself. If P is proved wrong, V will also be, he is saving himself by saving him..

Also his psychopathic mahaanta syndrome, where he makes ladies his zimmedaari to soothe his God syndrome, it provides him gratification...oh how much I am doing for humanity/ families (bhabhi).

It's honestly a forced loyalty of virat's towards pakhi written by writers to try and keep pakhi relevant in the story no matter how ridiculous it makes any other character in the show appear. It looked most forced when he bailed out pakhi and insulted sai for her because sai was against her being back in house despite virat getting to know pakhi's plotting to steal their child from pakhi. No husband in their right mind would have done that unless he is actually in love with the other woman and doesn't give a shit about his wife's feelings. Every chavan family member has been written to be ignorant, hypocritical, inhuman and have double-standards just to keep pakhi at forefront of the story and keep her appearing important to the other characters.

That is simply why virat's behaviour and support for pakhi never makes sense to any of us, because it is completely illogically written to ensure this pakhi character continues to get screen time.

The husband wife duo should have been split and Pakhi recasted.
