Like you said Moor the skit was to bring out Sai's fears and insecurities. For revive her wounds that she has been hiding under the strong demeanour.
Like I have said always, people who are strong don't generally reveal their vulnerable side even to their closest. It is then the partner's responsibility to understand and stand by in such situations. Because they too need a let out or it can be harmful for them. V failed Sai there. He never saw those heaps of pain that she has neatly piled up inside her. The accident post the anniversary was one such instance, when her pain finally took a toll on her.
What the skit did was shake the mother in her who was in denial that Savi needed her father and she will get over this search. It was for her to see what her daughter was desperately yearning and what V was capable of providing..only him!
But, she is now in a dilemma. As most of us predicted, at this stage she is unsure about revealing the truth for Vinu's sake.
See the stark difference in Sai and P here. P broke a happy family for her selfish obsession and snatched away what belonged to Sai. Today Sai is ready to sacrifice her daughter's happiness for the sake of P's family. But no one sees the pure heart here. Unfortunately the one who fakes or screams out aloud are the ones whose goodness is appreciated. The silent ones go unnoticed and even worse misunderstood.
And that is what will happen with Sai. Even the genuine concern of Sai will be MU.
I'm not sure what to make out of P's expression while watching the skit. Did she make Savi's connect with V? Or was that for Vinu-V scene if she is aware that Vinu is the OG son of V? Could be either. Agree Moor, PL's acting... or lack of it is being utilised for confusing us. We don't really now what to make out of it.
BK and gang are simply pathetic. The moment they open their mouth and I feel like puking. Sadhika your TS has me in a fix now everytime I see Ashwini. Her face these days is as bad as P and now I can't help but think about your story everytime they zoom onto her face š¤£
Coming to the promo. I do agree that it does not play out exactly like the promo and I also understand the 4th wall aspect.
We have been waiting for a monologue to get some insight into V. Also there were doubts that maybe V had some reflection on his mistakes. That gets cleared here. He has had none.
Before I delve into this, lets just keep some facts drawn from the promo and the story so far.
The promo shows Sai leaving CN on two occasions. During SH track and then after Vinu's birth. V never introspected during SH track. Despite being wrong to a certain extent, he enjoyed the worshipping while Sai bore the punishment. Sai accepted her mistakes and no one brought up V's mistakes, neither did he have any after thoughts on it himself. He was all clean.
Here V is linking the same Sai to the one who left CN with Vinu. But he failed to see that she was a wife during SH track and it was a mother in the separation one. He failed to see the growth, the change in Sai. He saw it as the impulsiveness and arrogance of an immature girl. The girl who he married, but he did not realise she had matured and how.
So V is still stuck on that Sai who left him in SH track and clubbing this up with the separation one. Hence, he feels Sai didnāt trust him
So the conclusion I derive from this is that V had zero introspection. His wallowing and mourning was only limited to losing Sai and Vinu. And the fact that he could have avoided the accident if he had stopped them. That was the only guilt he had and he is over it, since Sai is alive. The guilt for Vinu's loss conveniently transferred to Sai. So V is now again in that post landmine phase, where he has been wronged by Sai. He sees nothing wrong in his actions.
An important point, all through out if you note no where has he said that he did wrong by getting P bailed out. It was always about letting Sai leave and regret that he didnāt stop her. But nowhere he accepts that he should have not bailed out P or wish he had heard Sai.
Now at this stage despite her strong demeanour, she is breaking. She is going soft and vulnerable. Because that is Sai's character. Even more now that she is a mother. She is thinking about Vinu and Savi. She realises Savi's need for a father. She sees V-Vinu bond and what Savi too has a right on. And she also sees the family that can break at her revelation. And that is Sai, thinking about everyone.
But she is a mother, she is scared for the other in her. Of losing her child too to a father who may take her away or her daughter who may choose him over her.
The problem
This is and ITV show, so we can't be expecting a complete closure and karma delivery. But some of it definitely needs to be addressed.
One is that it cannot and should not be a repeat of SH track. For the very reason that the roles were reversed in it. So how will he same person bear the punishment in both?
Two. V never realised his share of mistakes in SH track. That is pending on him. And he surely has no realisation now. This can't on for ever on loop.
Three. Chavans have really got some heavy taxes to pay with penalty
Four - P after all did loses nothing. Clean chit and a happy family. Not fair
Five - The kids. They need to have their parents...as a whole. They deserve that happiness and can't be deprived of their rights.
So what is the problem here?
It is the current state of affairs. Sai is pretty much in the landmine accident phase. No, not guilt wise. (The guilt is only for Vinu). But she is somewhere going soft and weak. Which means she will take the accusations to a certain extent. That stage has passed where she was standing strong and ready to pounce. She has mellowed after all that has happened and her acceptance of V-P-Vinu happy family picture.
V has no reflection. So he believes Sai is wrong all the way since she left. And with Savi's revelation he will go crazy on her. His own dilemma which apparently is his own doing will be vented out on Sai.
Chavans will have another bone to pick against Sai. We know them. They will accept Savi, but not Sai. They will try to separate manipulate Savi and snatch her away from Sai. We can't expect any change of heart here. Till there is a probability of P bearing V's child, they will never consider Sai. They will cunningly and ruthlessly play to keep what they need and throw what they dont.
Savi at this point will only be fangirling if she knows V is her father. She is already in awe of him and also envisions him as her father. So the shift seems very much possible and the brain washing all the more easier.
So if we look at all this Sai is completely singled out and it entirely seems like this was all her mistake and she brought this on all of them. And she didnāt spare her own children. Killed one and kept the other away.
All along Sai is the only one wrong.
And we know this thinking has to break. Or else there is no story. Only toxicity being churned out and Sai suffering..but for how long?
I remember having this discussion with Moor and Sadhika that V will let Sai take Savi to prove that he loves her and her importance is not dependent on their children. I agree Moor. I see this going the other way now. Sai will leave Savi, because she will be seeing Savi's happiness, which at that point will be in being with V. She will not want to repeat history and take away Savi from V. So she will leave. And my understanding says it will be treated as good riddance and more Sai bashing that she is such a heartless mother. But V will have to feel the pinch.
Again, we were hoping that Savi will be the deal breaker. But now I see Vinu as the catalyst. Let's go back to the rescue episode. Sai is holding Vinu and V has Savi and they are on either side of Raavan. I know the sequence was meant to bring the family picture and the kids connecting with their other parent. But that shot I believe had a future story. Vinu will stand by his mother.
Like we have spoken about, he will be one who will show V the mirror. By choosing his Aai over his Aaba and his family. For the courage to stand for right and not succumb to the family pressure and opt for the easy way.
No in all this there is one this that has to come out for Sai to have the upper hand. For this whole situation to reverse. Sai has to be proved right.
This can only happen if her assessment of P is right and of V and his family being terribly wrong. Only then will this narration change.
And for that P has to go wrong. Either right from the beginning or after Sai's entry. And my biggest bet here is Vinu's identity. This has to be deal breaker.
Because no one will hold up P for what she did during surrogacy. With Vinu's true identity revealed, Chavans will only go more strong on keeping him away from Sai. Even the congenital aspect will be brushed considering it would place the guilt on V and BK. And both are escapist.
Any justifications in Sai's favour will be passed till P is proved wrong. There is no other way to make any of them see their mistakes. P is too strong at this point and nothing can shake her status. Only P herself can break it, by being what she truly is. NEGATIVE
