After ML s wedding thy stopped sindoor scenes for Sai. Even for 2nd wedding thy didn't show sindoor and mangalsutra.

Dont know why.

Even I am Maharashtrian... And we are not like how they portrayed Marathi Family... I living in joint family yes we do have difference of opinion but never this black like Chavanis... Totally agree with you Ayesha should promote her character... She was the sole reason why I started watching this show but fir me her character died when she forgive Virat after he literally thrown her out of the house in the middle of the night...

Yeah I just try and console myself thinking about all the Punjabis and North Indians whose culture has probably been appropriated and misrepresented in our serials and movies for so long...we know our truth and we should correct ideas in our immediate social circle (if any misunderstanding crops up).

Baaki toh serial bakwaas hai sabko pata hai, Maharashtrian background or not.

It's a sweet idealistic idea but I am sure Ayesha is happier with the fat cheques she is getting at such a young age rather than fighting for her on-screen character, when she knows that the audience is watching despite everything...

To be fair, Maharashtrians don't apply sindoor 😊 so this omission for once makes sense.

And Maharashtrains don't apply alta too..... They totally missed Gudi Padwa and Vata Savitri too... And if you noticed they smartly shown Rakshabandhan after Samrat's death and also avoided bhabhis tie rakhi to their devars... Kyuki voh kar lete toh real life jodi ko issue hota aur aage jage devar bhabhi shaadi kaise kar pate...

Oh did they?? I don't watch regularly so no idea...but yeah those are major festivals...I don't know about this devar-bhabhi rakhi tying. It doesn't happen in my family but yeah, nothing of what happens between these devar-bhabhi happens either 🤣
