I guess they are showing Virat's side of story that how everyone's trying to pester him to move on, but he is not ready, technically now there is no barrier between V-P, with Sai Samrat's death they can move on easily with family's acceptance, P seems ready too, but they are showing that the only barrier between them to move on is Virat's love for Sai, and I really hope he won't agree with Ashwini tommorow, maybe he'll tell, give him some time, he'll try, but not asap will go and sleep with Pakhi

And before he can give it a thought to move on with Pakhi, he will come face to face with Sai and once he will come face to face with her, there's no going back for him.....

Also, for your theory if they want any kind of sympathy for Pakhi then the scenario will play out exactly like pre Samrat death, where Samrat Pakhi were ready to take their marriage next level but he got killed before that, making Pakhi bechari, yaha bhi zyada se zyada Aisa hi hoga, V will half heartedly agree to take forward the marriage ahead, P will be ready but before they can, He will encounter himself with Sai, phir gaya jahaj Pani me, Virakhi ka🤪

See why I am optimistic and considering Virakhi getting physical far fetched because of two kids, here two biological kids are involved, so they will show Sairat as endgame only, the story is about two siblings bringing their estranged parents togather again after realising their love and Pakhi will be the biggest conflict and thorn in it...... But Virakhi seems far fetched....

Although I completely back the argument, that Virat moving on is not problem but moving on with Pakhi is problem, but I guess makers want to justify Patralekha being in montage, plus Pakhi is the significant third angle in Sairat's life from beginning hence to maintain the essence and drama, they didn't bring other third woman for Virat, plus they know Pakhi has very very strong effect on audience, even if it's negative, she does bring discussion and drama around her, so obviously makers will cash on in it......

Darling but here people are freaking out they've got their reasons ofcourse offscreen being the main one. However there are two possible scenarios I can think of you've already written few another could be the typical ITV cliched scene Pakhi dresses up as Sai & Virat imagines Pakhi to be Sai then when he was about to do the deed, he gets reality check and then gets up & feels disgusted what he was about to do. I've seen these type of scenes. Plus he may continue fake pretending of moving on when Sai would throw him out of her life so he'll try tasting & evoking Sai's love for him by doing such things, maybe so she admits she still loves to him.

If they want sympathy for Pakhi they can show Virat getting involved in PDA with Sai infront of everyone & showering love upon her, romancing her getting intimate close to her in public domain infront of whole society too...

But here the main problem is how Pakhi's character was since the beginning she's made Sai's life hell most importantly she was his ex flame & she was his brother's widow it reflects too badly on his character.

Getting physical knowingly with another woman on ITV after death of FL means ship is dead. Biggest of iconic ships this thing will always be maintained in ITV, that's one thing that keeps the ship going is MLs loyalty towards FL in that aspect...

Physical as in no romantic inclination. So far they haven't shown anything as such from Virat's side..

One thing I really wanted postleap was Sai to be shown as super successful doctor like Imon.
