There must be some reason. For Vinu or they are faking or P s mentally depressed as Vinu passed away. So they adopt a boy and give same name and V marries out of sympathy or masi s last wish or something.

Sai s righteous. Till the mess s cleared she won't be his wife. But allow as a father.

8 yrs s a long time. Things change a lot. And there was no hope she will be back .

Articles are all reporting it is a 5 years leap, and looking at the children it doesn't look like a 8 year leap.
