Yes, absolutely. According to Ghum's world where someone like BK is still loved and respected by all including the ever righteous Sai and even the victims Devi and Pulkit, Pakhi did get a harsh punishment. I still remember the cringe scene when Sai appealed to the motherhood of BK to accept Pulkit and Harini.

I just dont get it why they had to show this to be a police/ army family. If you were gonna let character to so over the top criminals, just make them obscenely rich businessmen. The fact that Sai and Virat keep preaching "sahi ka saath" is the biggest joke.
