This is what I found. So DM is superior in ranking.

An IPS has only the responsibility of its department, but an IAS (DM) has the responsibility of all the departments of the district. An IAS officer as DM is the head of the police department and other departments. As per one protocol, the IPS officer needs to salute the IAS if he is senior to him.

OK only if senior

I have a strong feeling they are making Virat to do missions to kill all Pakhis proofs.

The police guy died, then the doctor died due to virats mission.

Now they will kill those goons in this mission.

So all proofs r erased. They may kill Geeta and her husband also while crossing the road during the mission or encounter with the goons. By mistake they may be killed.

I have a strong feeling. And involving Sai n the missions to please fans.

Ias is a lot safer than IPS with Kure creature comforts .. police is more risky .. not many are ready for it ..

but I Cross department people don’t scold each other ..

It’s not done ..

ACP is not an inspector .. they got it very wrong here .. DIG reprimanding ACP is absolutely well within norms ..

DM cannot do that
Even ministers avoid ruffling feathers

IAS advisors for ministers and cheif ministers? IPS advisors for home ministers? something like that?

For example JP (Jayaprakash Narayan) was an IAS officer who used to be chief advisor for the then Chief minister NT Rama Rao.

Usually home ministers are surrounded by IPS officers. I dont know for sure though.

But they are brains behind any welfare schemes or policies. Unfortunately they can only advise, cant decide. Thats the problem

My engg classmate actually is an IPS now. I can take an interview with him! But i lost his contact and he is unreacheable through our whatsapp groups too. He is now posted in Assam. But our IPS is seated comfortably in Nagpur with DIG behaving as his father-in-law. Only yesterday I saw the DIG snap at him otherwise, ghar bithake khana khila rahe hain.

Only way to escape Pakhi is to take the transfer
