IBF complaint

Since prior thread was shut, I wanted to share the emails of the person to send complaints to

I filed a complaint and got an auto reply with the email address of the "grievance officer" at Star.

They will probably not do anything constructive but I think its definitely important for us to register our dissent, our condemnation and our distaste for such crass pathetic content.

Show toh quit kardiya but its important that we tell the channel and makers that they have a social responsibility towards not presenting criminal acts in a glorified/sugarcoated/acceptable manner as if its not a crime but just a small inconvenience

Tv/movies reflect society

By showing criminal activities being done and going unpunished or being narrated in a manner as if such things are no big deal, they are not creating "drama quotient" but a crass, regressive, misinformation filled trashy content.

Complained. This much leeway in creativity isn't acceptable.

No mass complaint is necessary. We did for the suicide track to which they changed. Neerja as a doctor if you can give a write up with the proper norms we can do the same we did last year and this time many will be participating, we should write an open letter like we did last year and mass complaints to broadcasting ministry

Neerja you have to explain why a lady without past successful pregnancy history can't be a surrogate..

Don't complain to police because everyone will get in trouble because of these 4/5 idiots

This is much needed as creativity has certain leverage but this is like ignoring all the rules and laws.

Neerja - I have a question, can anyone just go for Surrogacy process. My sisters friend is trying this IVF process and the poor girl has gone through 2 miscarriage. Doesnt Surrogacy involve an initial process prior the actual implant is done?

Also, can you please mention about all the abuses Sai, the protagonist, face in the name of struggle, the three slaps which got, plus a the mental stress during the pregnancy which led to her miscarriage falls under the domestic violance, plus to indirectly potray the mentality that a child is very much needed for any couple to stay intact, is kind of very triggering to the sentiments of childless couples, plus they've also indirectly potray that a woman is only a child making machine and she doesn't have any other identity, can be also triggering and insensitive. Plus pls mention that they are taking away the essential right, which is right to reproduce from their protagonist and justifies it with extremely insensitive dialogues.

We did trend against surrogacy and sent many emails to them too. Only got back a generic BS response from Star.

I'm doing this just for closure really. To place my grievance on record.

I'm not super well versed with the technicalities myself since I'm not a GYN. but I know medically and legally their content is crap coz there is no facts, just rubbish that they are showing.

The medical aspects they just gloss over- and therefore they will get away by saying that there is no specific disease mentioned. But there are direct legal violations.

Makers themselves said that a childless woman cant be surrogate. So then how can IPS forget that and say pp is a good choice?! He is a frickin ips officer. He cannot condone or support illegal things. But then again ips himself has cheated the system so what can we expect. And then they are showing things like fake identity, misinformation, hiring gundas, assault, abuse, harassment - all as if it's not a big deal.

Those things are definitely unacceptable.
