SamRakhi's closure. Virat's role.

I know this is beaten to death topic. But I wanted to bring this now because today is an important and dramatic turn in the lives of Samrat, Virat, Sai and Pakhi. All their lives were once changed by Virat with his one decision. Not his decision to move away from Pakhi, but his decision to give her the infamous vaada.

I always believed Virat's vaada, came from a pure place but is a result of his inexperience clubbed with his overestimation of himself and his emotions(at that time). He assumed quite a lot of things. That

1. He will never be able to love another girl

2. Pakhi will love Samrat as he is a good man

3. Pakhi might get over him soon(He didnt fully comprehend the effect he had on her)

4. His marriage to Sai automatically nullified his Vaada. Because marriage is for life.

5. His repeated denial will make Pakhi get over the vaada.

6. Pakhi will not do anything that is immoral or brings bad name to their family and hence would stay in limits because the vaada had 'friendship' clause.

Virat found closure when he married Sai, or even before when he decided to not marry Pakhi. He had time to think and decide in both situations. He was mentally prepared while making those decisions, so there is an inevitable closure when you do things in finality. Later, when he fell in love with Sai and started to imagine normal future with Sai, his assumptions above were considered facts by him. So he stopped looking back at them anymore. Though he is emotionally moved away from the past and Pakhi, Virat is still tied to Pakhi through the 'action'...his Vaada. The karma is still stuck to him in the form Samrakhi's stagnant relationship. Only way he could get rid of it is to apologize to Pakhi for this blunder called Vaada.

Pakhi will find closure in his acceptance that he made a mistake by falsely raising hopes. His assumptions were all rendered wrong. He might not have thought about it in that way then, but now he sees its effects. So it is an unintentional mistake that impacted her and Samrat by extension. His apology has power to change her!

Virat should go to Pakhi and Samrat and apologize Pakhi in front of Samrat. If Pakhi gets the closure, Samrat will too! Virat is capable of doing it and Sai can help him in this.

PS: This is keeping RK's character in mind. Pakhi for me crossed the line of evil in AJ track as I have mentioned several times. Storywise, this is what should happen for Pakhi to move on in my opinion.

It would be really nice if something like this happens. If Virat comes clean about his vaada in front of Sai, Samrat, and Patralekha and apologises to P, she will know that vakai her sapna of apna banana Virat comes to a proper full stop.

If not Patralekha, at least Samrat will get closure or make up his mind what to do with his relationship with Patralekha. He is keeping the ball in her court which he shouldn't, but never mind.

what I feel is many times people hold others responsible for their miseries. Pakhi thinks virat is brushing the vaada under carpet to his convenience. She thinks he is pretending that he is over it. His apology shows that he did mean it in the past and could not keep it as he found his true love. That he made a mistake by trying to control the future which is not in anyones control. His Apology will make her the giver. Giving always feels good. The resentment she has might fade a little, allowing samrat a little.

Agree 100%.....it is an apology long overdue...it will bring closure to all four people involved...

Correct. Virat made a mistake and he should apologise for it. Remember in that movie Bachna Ae Hasino, Ranbir apologises to his ex after many years and she is bache ki maa but she had not gotten closure. It was his apology that finally got her closure.

Virat was not wrong falling for Pakhi but he was certainly did injustice to both his brother and Pakhi by raising hopes in Pakhi's mind..

Pakhi and Samrat both deserve an apology from Virat.. However even after that I don't think Pakhi will get any clouser because she doesn't want to come out from the past...

Agree with you . He needs to acknowledge the her pain due to his Vaada and him backing out without talking to her. He made a Vaada and she took a decision based on that and later he declared Vaada no longer exists . It was not fair . I don’t support Pakhi in many things but she deserves an honest conversation and an apology .

Recently , she asked a valid question . He fought for everyone’s love but not theirs ( both believed they were in love at that time ) he shouldn’t have ignored that and should have clarified why he didn’t feel the need to do so then . Maybe it was never love in the first place . Unless he clarifies she won’t move on and this will hurt Samrat .

I think Sai needs to stay out of this . Her involvement in any way will only make matters worse . He took this decision before Sai came into his life and he needs to sort this out with his brother and SIL .
