Remember the bhandaphod scene... When Sai says is ghar main bhabhiyon ko devar ke upar raaj karne ki pratha hai/ aadat hai ... Or something similar.

Ashwini has a strangely weird but relieved expression. Her hurt of all these years has been vocalized by Sai... Which she could never do.

So i assume, she would have been always wary of that relationship especially when it is more than friendship of the past, even if it had been some other girl and not Sai. But with Sai she saw a worthy contender, someone who could definitely be V's kavach... And quickly realised the situation would not be repeated...

Its perfectly alright and understandable if she feels that way.

I think the first time Ash gets this inkling is when Sai stops BK at the reception.

Something i had read long time back...

There's a luminous non visible coloured entity surrounding our body which we generally call as aura. In yoga it's called 8th chakra. Each person has a unique aura and while it changes based on mood and stress etc... It generally remains the same overall.

It is also said that using colour theory... People with complementary auras (complementary colours) match immediately while those with contrasting ones differ. And while it may happen that you tend to like a person, overtime the attachment dissipates and the bond breaks... While with some people you gel at get go...

I don't believe much in spirituality but this idea resonates with me. There are some people whom I have a strong bond with and that too in only few meetings.

I always feel that Ashwini felt the same aura for Sai the day she entered the house. Without knowing anything about her but trusting her gut feelings and trusting V to make an appropriate decision.

Ashwini had been built in front of us as a woman who was trapped in a household full of opportunistic, selfish people who did not value her , yet she had only compassion and goodness in her heart. She is shown as being extremely intuitive, perceptive and soft hearted who knows right vs wrong but not bold enough to raise her voice but wise enough to keep her moral compass intact and inculcate good values in all the children of the house, especially her own son.

So thats why its been tough to watch her falter and do a U-turn in and post Shruti kaand. When her wisdom, patience, intuition was MOST needed , she let Sairat down. When we as audience watch it, we are no longer surprised by BK or PPs vileness or stupidity, but we expect maturity, wisdom from Ashwini. Thats why its tougher and unacceptable when she errs like this. How did she behave SO harshly with Sai despite being privy to everything that happened. Ashwini more than anyone knew Sai's insecurities and fears. Yet she took no time to flip and turn on Sai. And worst thing is, she never apologized! Actually nobody gave Sai a proper apology except mohit!

She can never love Sai more than V because she shares her DNA with V, but now when she finally does have the position, power to speak and influence things in the CN thanks to Sai's efforts and influence- she has failed at utilizing it effectively. Its surprising that she had more clarity and authority before- when Sai first came home as V's wife to all the post wedding functions to college admission. But now after she actually has more respect in the house- thanks to the public apology by Ninad, things getting back on track with her-ninad and now Sairat- now she doesn't speak with more clarity/authority. Shes constantly sugarcoating anything she says , constantly appeasing BK....why?! At this stage in her life- age wise, especially with Ninad's absence right now, and as the mother of the oldest "son of the house", she should actually realize that she has authority. She has nothing to lose anymore coz she is not some nayi naveli dulhan who can get intimidated by BK. And the people in question right now are HER son and DIL. She has the first right on them, more than BK, no matter what mukhiyagiri she claims. So as the mother and saas, she can put her foot down, show BK a mirror rather than try to sweet talk her.

I agree z with this that virat is not the leader .. he does not have the strong moral compass for it

Sai has the leadership skills and Kaku has it in truckloads ..

right or wrong ..

Virat is the able warrior .. .. the strong defence .. to have him on your side .. is assuring victory .. he’s the bhima or Arjuna among the pandavas… but not yudhusthira …who has the conviction to walk alone . And stay firm

I agree with this regarding ashwini totally ..

Infact for both ninad n ashwini it holds true .. they both have seen that they have an able son who has a career in public office .. good reputation.. by chance they have a young bahu who is smart , pretty and has excellent academic credentials.. and is on path to be a doctor

This is 2021-22 .. not 20 th century .. both look the type who should be happy at the career path and support them totally .. Infact try to smooth their life .

Because Sai earning will only help virat’s growth

I have seen parent in laws becoming full time child minders .. in their children’s house .. so that the daughter in law do not leave their jobs .. it is so so common ..

They are allowing bk , and omi gang to put obstacles in their path ..

The whole period when Sai was studying by irritating Sai they have troubled virat .. abd his professional life has also taken a toll .. when Sai had her accidents .. both times fingers were raised at him.. isn’t it high time ninad ,. Tells bk to shut up and stop interfering in his son’s life

Infact he can tell virat clearly to take his wife and move to a different house .. he will encourage it abd support it

It is my personal experience.. and I can share it . When I was newly married my sister in law ( husband’s sister .. was too much possessive about her bro ) she had a broken marriage .. and used to insist on every decision that me and my husband took . Naturally I was irritated .. abd there were issues cropping up .. my father in law ..guided my husband to take a transfer to a different city .. after 2-3 months .. he said this is the best way out .. even though it was economically foolish to move out of one metro where you have a big house to settle in another .. but it kinda saved my marriage .. abd I can never thank my FIL enough for this

So it is totally in ninad’s and ashwini hands to back their son’s marriage strongly ..
when they do that .. bk and omi will never get a chance to put a wedge ..

As the new promo is out, I've a theory on the kavdi (excuse the spelling, I write it the way it is pronounced in Marathi 😂) scene.

The kavdi goes and falls in Pakhi's lap.

I almost agree with everyone's prediction here that Samrakhi's kid will be brought up by Sairat (going by KD track)

I'd like to speak about symbolism here -

Kavdi symbolizes fertility, womanhood, prosperity, wealth.

The first attempt I assume the kavdi broke (pls correct me if wrong)

And the second attempt it falls in Pakhi's lap.

I equate this scene with both DIL's grihpravesh.

Sai ka seedha paav.

Pakhi ka ulta paav.

BK does reprimand P for entering with a U turn 😂 her attitude changes only when Sai comes in picture. Then P becomes fav bahu.

Sai enters properly!

She is seen as a bad omen, unwanted, misfit, etc etc etc but eventually shows everyone the mirror.

Pakhi on the other hand is vile but hailed like a saint.

P enjoys the attention, Sai doesn't give two hoots (though she feels bad, but that's a story for some other time)

Devi also forecasts - Sai will set everything right.

Sai hain toh sab sahi hai.

Also, V called P mature and Sai immature.

P as his ex-interest V finds her feminine, attractive and of course mature. And Sai as exact opposite - ill-mannered, etc etc etc.

But eventually the narrative shifts and how!

The kavdi breaking = seeing one as an ill-omen or misfit or a sign of bad luck

Kavdi falling in Pakhi's lap = Pakhi gaining importance aka reputation/respect over Sai.

Pakhi returning the kavdi = Sai will be hailed for all her good deeds after Pakhi exposes herself. Her actions will do that.

Right after this scene at CN P goes to BK telling her that Sai is chalaak and falana dhinka (her usual blab). It's almost like she's losing grip and craves that importance which can only be gained by manipulating BK.

At times I feel P has got nthn to do with V. This lady only needs importance and attention 😂

When P has done enough, the results are out and the lie is exposed. We are back to square one. Sai is taken down from the pedestal.

It's the classic power play game which only P is playing 😂

Another interpretation -

Kavdi breaking can also be seen as breaking of illusion. BK brought the couple to temple after a series of lies about Sai being the bahu etc etc etc.

Its like before they predict the child - the truth has to come out. And as always, truth is out with kavdi breaking. And then it falls in P's lap - momentary hi sahi now she enjoys an upper hand. But she returns it to Sai. Situations will so arise that Sai will gain her position back.

An alternate scenario -

If Sam is really dying and Samrakhi haven't comsummated ( a pure assumption), high chance that P will fake her pregnancy. Then Samrat won't be there to prove anything.

Today, divorce word was uttered. Devi says V will never divorce Sai. Red light here - iska ulta ho sakta hai to shock the audience.

P will fake her pregnancy. BK will pressurize V to divorce Sai. And if at all Sam dies saving Sai or if Sai as a doc is not able to save him, toh ho chuka! BK won't spare her this time. Though V will stand with Sai atleast on moral grounds but circumstances will force them to separate.

Applying kavdi scene here -

Kavdi broke - fake pregnancy / even separation

Kavdi falls in P's lap - P utilizes the opportunity

Kavdi returned to Sai - Lie is exposed, also high chances that all the way in reality Sai is pregnant, away from CN, and no one knows about it.

I'd really like Sai to be out of CN if they're planning separation ( not kidnapping, but later on too)

P. S: I know the conversation after and before this scene is all about kids, but I tried to interpret in another light.
