No he doesnt. Sai chose not to tell. But he senses that Pakhi might have said something to Sai to make her insecure which pushed her to question him like this. This Virat is little more vigilant than the one we find on TV :)
Oh yeah and he decides to clear her doubts anyways by saying that he did touch her once while saving.

I wanted this chapter to be little lighter and show Sai's deduction skills being a police officer's daughter. She is extremely perceptive and being very intelligent, can handle Pakhi smartly if she wanted to. I also wanted Sai to be reasonable in dealing with Pakhi, not going the direct way but to first irritate her, corner her by weakening her resolve. At the same time, I wanted to weave the story around something mundane that shows their daily family gatherings and them discussing some most important stuff like Harini. I felt bad when that little girl who found her family after 10 years was sent to boarding school and from then wanted to write something on bringing her back. I also wanted to establish this 'uncomfortable' equation between Virat and Pulkit as I see Pulkit is like complaining in-laws when it comes to Virat. And the recent confrontations and more such incidents around Sai would have definitely established a cold-war like scenario between the two 😆 I hope you all like what I have tried to show.
Day 2
Sai and Virat's bedroom.
The shrill ring of alarm woke up Sai at 6:30AM. Today is Saturday and she has a day off at college, but she cant afford sleeping longer and invite more taunts from Kaku. She never liked to cook, but likes to join her MIL in the kitchen for some fun banter and life lessons till the mood gets eventually spoiled when Pakhi comes in. The amount of negative energy she brings early in the morning makes her wonder how Sam dada might be enduring her in the confines of their room. Praying for him is the only thing she can do, she realized. But today, she was excited to see Pakhi and play with her brains a bit. She wanted to teach her a lesson that she will not forget ever!.
Going back to the problem at hand, she realized the person who sent her the messages must be a female and known to Pakhi, may be too close to her to do this kind of bidding for her. She just needs to confirm this one thing before she proceeded with her plan and for that she needed her husband's phone which is missing along with her husband. While she waited for him to return from his morning run, she went back to the pictures on her phone and closely looked at the second picture that had campfire at the back. May be this is the one where he was trying to protect her?! she wondered. And may be the only picture Pakhi didi had to play with me, she concluded.
"Good lord. I am married to this superhero V, who goes and protects every female on the earth", she chided zooming his face in the picture by pinching it hard.
Not wasting anymore time, she went to get ready for the day all the while thinking hard to corner Pakhi before she can take her head on. She was ready to leave the room, when her husband returned from his morning run.
"Virat sir, can I have your phone real quick?", she asked candidly.
Virat handed it over to her and started doing some stretches not paying much attention.
Sai opened his lock code, his passcode being her birthday and month.
"You did not change the passcode, I told you not to use so obvious ones", she warned him.
"Who has guts to touch IPS officer's phone without his permission, except ofcourse the madam herself. ", he smiled amusingly.
"You dont know what kind of criminals are there around", Sai muttered under her breath. "She can easily guess it."
"Who?", questioned Virat casually still not paying attention.
"Anyone in our home", Sai covered up.
"Who has such ill manners to use other's phone without their permission in our house?", Virat said but caught his words in the middle and met his wife's eyes.
Both looked at each other and knowing the answer, bursted into laughs. Virat nodded at her antics saying "You will not reform, will you?", he said going down on the ground for pushups and thats when Sai had got this idea. To teach Pakhi the lesson in the same way.
She sprang up immediately and lied flat on her husband's back as he went down on his stomach.
"Ahh, what is this Sai. Is this love or punishment?", he groaned under the unexpected weight.
"You said you can bear my weight, lift me up Superhero V", she giggled.
"Not again. dont use that name on me. I hate it.", he rebuked trying his might to win her challenge.
Sai was giggling all the while holding him with one hand quickly taking a selfie. She abruptly got down from his back and went back to her phone leaving Virat bewildered.
"Thank you Virat sir, sorry super V. My job is done.", she said springing back on her legs and took both their phones with her and left the room.
Before going downstairs, she opened the secure app on her husband's phone which masks the phone number of the caller and called the number from where the messages were sent.
A female voice answered on the other end. Sai cut the call immediately confirming her previous guess that it is some female that sent those messages and it is not Pakhi didi. So she must be someone close to Pakhi didi, she confirmed.
Then quickly she opened her photos, selected the latest photo, blurred her husband's face which is anyways showing side ways and her smiling heartily and sent it the unknown number with caption. "Anything this closer? 😟." (with a confused emoji) . She was pretty sure her message will reach the intended destination.
Smiling proudly that this will help tighten the noose around Pakhi, she went downstairs.
CN kitchen.
Sai joined her MIL in the kitchen and both started the day discussing her exams and their upcoming trip to Harini's boarding school on Sunday. Everyone in the family was missing her after she visited them for her holidays.
"Aai, Virat sir wants to discuss about Harini's stay in boarding school with Pulkit Jiju again!", Sai brought up the topic which had been in their regular discussion for a while now.
"What does he want to talk about? That we need to bring her back home?", asked Aai as if to confirm
"Yes Aai, he thinks that Devi tai will benefit more if Harini stays with her not the opposite", Sai said as if agreeing to her husband.
"Bada, how can we force our decision on her parents, we can only say once or twice which Virat and Samrat had already conveyed. If Pulkit ji thinks it will hurt Harini if she stays with Devi till she doenst get better, then we should not interfere", said Ashwini even though she supports her sons' decision.
"Virat sir is adamant to bring this topic again. I dont want another face off between the two tomorrow.", Sai said softly.
Ashwini understands where Sai's worry comes from. Pulkit has assumed very important role in her life and she wants Virat and Pulkit to be in good terms always. But as it happens always, Pulkit gets too protective of Sai while Virat feels territorial on her, that started a kind of cold war between the two men. There is a visible tension underlying when they meet. And the last thing Sai wanted is a disagreement between the two important men in her life.
"Bada, Virat respects Pulkit a lot. He would not say anything that might upset him. So dont worry", assured Ashwini when Pakhi entered the Kitchen.
"Okay good luck! Your trouble came. Give her back Ok?", encouraged Ashwini while leaving the kitchen to the DILs.
"O Sai, did you sleep well last night? The way you were both looking yesterday, I did not expect you to look this fresh in the morning.", jeered Pakhi assuming that the couple would have fought cats and dogs.
"Sorry to disappoint you Pakhi didi. But, I had a peaceful sleep last night.", she said plainly expecting that Pakhi's bubble would burst anytime soon.
As if on cue, Pakhi's phone beeped which she ignored.
"I had a nice sleep too! Samrat and I had a good evening walk in the garden which felt relaxing. You should also try that instead of irritating Virat with your childishness", she started giving her unwanted advice when the messages on her phone would not stop.
Sai was more curious about the raining messages on Pakhi's phone, so she did not counter her anymore and further delay her from checking her messages.
Pakhi checked her phone, and left the kitchen almost instantly. Sai followed her to see that she went into dining hall which was still gathering folks and looked her phone in frenzy. She then came back to the kitchen and looked at Sai's dress intently, anger rising in her face.
"What happened Pakhi didi. Are you fine? Looks like you are not", asked Sai innocently.
Pakhi was surprised to see Sai giggling in the photo and in that position with Virat. But she was equally thinking about the text below the picture. "Anything this closer?.".
She did not understand the emotion behind the message, but she took it literally that Sai might want something more obviously closer photo to make her believe in it. She could not understand how she could be so happy after seeing the photo where Virat was holding her by waist. She was confused and flustered not knowing what to do.
"Pakhi didi,", sai said softly and then startling her with loud voice "PAKHI DIDI, are you coming to the dining room with that dish there", Sai asked casually breaking Pakhi's stuper.
Pakhi widened her eyes as if threatening her and spilling her own secrets if Sai stays any further. Composing herself and trying to search her next plan of action, she scurried to the dining hall without looking at Sai.

Everyone gathered near the dining table for the family breakfast when BK announced their plans for Sunday.
"So we are all going to meet Harini tomorrow. Please wake up early and get ready by 7AM. Samrat and Virat will drive two cars. Mansi and I will go along with Pulkit and Devi.", she concluded to the acceding audience.
"Kaku, we spoke about this before but you should stress about bringing back Harini", reminded Virat to his Kaku to which Samrat nodded in agreement. "The girl is only 10 years old and she needs the family which she missed for so long. And her being with Devi tai will help her in recovering fast. She is a smart girl and will behave well if she knows what trouble her mother faces.", explained Virat again to make his point stronger.
"Virat.., how much can we tell more than what he have already", insisted Kaku. "That guy has his own mind", she rebuked Pulkit to which Sai's face fell.
"I agree. But I am not going to settle down till he agrees. This is ridiculous. How can anyone leave their only child in boarding school.! Sai agrees with me too, dont you sai?", Virat asked looking at Sai for approval.
"Yes, yes I agree, but we have to convey this to Pulkit Jiju softly. right?", she asked Virat for assurance that he will not be rude to him.
In all this conversation, Pakhi was lost in her own world when Samrat tried to bring back her attention.
"Even Patralekha agrees to bringing back Harini, right Patralekha?", Samrat nudged her for response.
"I dont care!", came Pakhi's response instantly. But later covered up saying "I do not involve in other's personal matters", she concluded to which Sai raised her eyebrows and giggled openly.
Samrat was embarrassed and Virat reprimanded Sai with his eyes.
Karishma said "Dado Sutto Patralekha bhabhi", laughing uncontrollably.
Visibly shaken by her co-sister's laughs and seeing that no one from elders coming to save her, she angrily flounced to kitchen determining strongly that she would up her plan and destroy the laugh in Sai's life.
Virat left to work and Samrat went out to talk to some investors for his new NGO while others silently retreated back to their work not to involve themselves in any drama that Pakhi started. Sai and Karishma got back to their usual schedule of gardening and making snacks which they enjoyed a lot, as they spend time with rest of the elders.
Thats the last time they saw Pakhi that day who only showed up her face in the night for dinner at the same dining table visibly upbeat. Dinner went without any drama and Sai observed Pakhi to be back in good spirits. Knowing well that something is being cooked well in Pakhi's brain, she braced herself for another text message. But if she could understand Pakhi in these 1.5 years of staying with her, Sai has full confidence on her stupidity and she knows how to use it to her benefit. This time she is prepared to give it back in the same way, even if she had to compromise on few things. She wants to end this chapter for her and for her Sam dada once for all.

Please get Sammy divorced by the end of this. I can't bear her with him anymore. Show main to milega nahi. Please do it in your story 😜
