Story is going copy paste way .. since they have edited some portions like emon being pregnant.. they have to add their parts which makes it even more cringe worthy

Rono’s mother was not a crybaby .. ashwini disappoints thoroughly .. this scene was depicted in a different way in KD .. when his mom tells her .. you move on and get married .. that was a different context .. emon was already in her final year and would have completed graduation in a few months .. then Emon tells her your son has bound her to him ..she cannot move out so easily .. as she’s pregnant ( they cannot show this part .. because over here it is friendship, cosmic connection) then mother starts crying at her fate .. whether she should be happy or heartbroken..

Also I feel it will be difficult to copy paste KD after a month .. because.. the crux of fighting n making up was that emon was pregnant…. She had got influenced that she has to go back to him as he has done no wrong . ( he did not sleep with shruti .. so no wrong )

And Rono was behaving like a super prick .. because he knew Emon was trapped .. he tells his lawyer friend .. she cannot do as she please . Because she’s his wife and is carrying his child .. the whole make up in this segment was very superficial.. everything from emon’s side and no reflection or introspection from Rono .. that’s what makes KD a good story .. because very soon .. Rono makes a bigger mistake

The issues/ transgressions in KD becomes gradually bigger .. because Rono was let off very easily in this track ..

Rono maintained physical boundaries with both RK and shruti .. he used to call shruti aapni throughout but .. he cared a damn whether she gets labelled as his mistress / wife .. virat hasn’t been able to maintain boundaries at all with both pakhi / shruti ..

Yes that's why that mindless copy pasting doesn't work in case of Ghum.. It looks so out of place..

Virat is already shown dying to have a baby with Sai and also wants a girl..how it's going to make sense the next Shruti track..

Initially they started off with some creativity... Virat consoling Sai after they had a fights and talking sahas about Sai.. If I'm not wrong he was less wooden than rono..

The whole premises of KD was to show that one has to bow down in a marriage and that's Emon.. So fans accepted that realistic kind of approach..Tgere were more passion and angsty in their love...

Hindi audience are different they didn't keep it mind while copy pasting everything.. Even though most of the heroes are shown quite dominant towards their partner.. Major missing in Ghum is that angst and passion which almost all Hindi shows have it... Raman kumar bhallla was one such selfish character on Hindi television.. If they want make virat like him makers should bring that passion he had for his wife..

There will be no courtroom drama in this track.....it will end with kidnapping and confession

Courtroom drama will be shifted to Shruthi-2 or Pakhi-2 tracks

Here also, Virat will be let off easily.... only to repeat his mistake in a graver fashion in the future. Sai is now burning - her unrealised feelings have come at her like an avalanche and she is struggling to keep her head above the water with all the longing, regret, anger, confusion. So when she comes to know that Virat hasn't had an affair with Shruthi, she will feel a rush of relief, all her defences will crumble at once....and she will confess her love to him...no questions asked on cohabiting with Shruthi all these days..

I don't get the point of the cringey scenes.....is it for titillating the audience? If so, does it even work? Looks more irritating than titllating... Subtlety, thy name is not hindi daily soaps....

I haven’t seen yhm .. don’t like Balaji brand of romance ..,no head or tail .. no logic .. though I like gul Khan …

I liked the screen play of KD .. because it was logical .. Rono never changed ..because real life people seldom do .. emon kept on adjusting and forgiving him .. and Infact did not like that he should repent for his mistakes .. after both the shruti tracks .. he walks back in his own sweet time and his family n wife worship him ..

so net result emon suffered more n more .. till it snapped ..

Are you sure about this no courtroom drama .. ?? I can’t say for sure .. because that came after 3-4 weeks of kidnapping.. so it just might be there .. but they need to hire good actors for both lawyers .. the lawyer in KD is my my current Tv crush .. in Khorkuto

I watched yhm till I could tolerate..Raman was one selfish man when it comes his wife.. Though his priorities were set unlike rono/virat ..

That was the reason I didn't like emon she easily could forgive Rono... Maybe because she didn't have anyone to call her own..

I don't like gul shows much...😆Except for ipkknd and nazar,kulfi ... 😆

He has lied by omission to her .. mentally harassed her .. also started cohabiting with another lady plus without her permission on paper registered as a father to a child .. so there are enough grounds for adultery n divorce ..

And Sai should divorce him .. and she should be sensible enough to walk away .. the situation over here is not the same as Emon .. as over there .. she had started reflecting what will happen to her kid.. and had started compromising on those ideals .. also Rono had given her a lot of love n passion in the last 3 years . So she could reflect on those ..

Over here they have had nothing .. only pain pain for the last 1 -2 years

The hug one is worse than the lifting Pakhi publicly cud the former still can be reasoned out but not this, he doesn't even show any reaction or discomfort instead patting her to not cry after the confession was like "arey" & I'm sure he'd try protecting Shruti's honour infront of Sada, try justifying the whole thing. He'd have no introspection, I doubt he'd maintain boundaries with Shruti even after this. I seriously dunno what makers are getting by doing this to an already degraded character.

Btw idk if this is a good thing or not by bringing back the Shruti track this early but ever since the track started there was hardly any bliss, happiness in Imon's life in KD baring few tracks. It was the longest most exhuasting track with no head or tail. Plus it took away half the time of remaining time of the show. In Ghum they'll get to show more happy moments I guess after finishing up this depressing track. Show will have more good moments than KD had over-all. Idk if you're getting what I'm saying.
