Its a much better show than ghkkpm as of now. I'm really liking it as of now but i am worried they will ruin it. I like the leads chemistry, acting.

Well, coming to the writer's part, I think I wrote in one of your threads. What is to be written is dictated by the creatives, the production house and the marketing team at the end of the day.

I have written cringe worthy scenes for many serials. Also done swot analysis for many writeups, said they were too gory or ghastly, illogical, but the creatives took it forward..the shows were hits in terms of TRPs.

There was one serial wherein the ML turned into a tiger on a full moon night. And the FL raced to save his victims.

One thing that fetches TRP is a triangle. Remember this. Other hot favourites are college level romance, separation tracks, suspense, weddings...

I know you once wrote in one of my threads your experience as a creative writer.

I remember there was a popular show where FL turns to a fly...and the famous naagin series is there for everyone to see.

Triangles fetch TRPs but can't it once be a FL centric one, when the show is FL centric.

Separation, angst are good to watch if done properly...weddings, especially fake ones are bread and butter of Ekta Kapoor's shows.

I think they consider the audience to have really low IQ. Obviously they don't respect the audience at all. Hence they force feed us the same rubbish over and over. But we swallow it..so.more fool us.

The whole 3rd wheel angle is so off-putting IRL. I've had friends deal with infidelity..it's horrendous and soul-destroying. The only show that even dealt with it remotely well in parts was Anu. Ghum is on some alternate plane with respect to faith in relationships. It's kind of gross if you think about it. It's not a joke to just have one affair after another (real or imagined). No marriage can withstand that. IRL Sai and Virat would have divorced long back. Anu is better in this respect. She did divorce the guy and is even moving forward.

I started watching a new zee tv show. Its good right now but triangle toh hai. The ML is married to his lovers sister because she ditched him. Now she's back and obsessed with him. Thankfully ML is trying to get past his ex and move on with his wife. But even then triangle toh hai. There was another show which seemed nice- about cadets and I started watching but vahaan bhi theres 2 parallel tracks- both are triangles.

I saw a clip of another itv show on zee and i thought leads chemistry was good, so I read the story summary and this guy is married to one woman because of some kundali dosh and is seeing his GF on the side too. Abd his whole family knows that his marriage to the FL is only for a year for superstitious reasons.

Aise aise waahiyat plots pata nahi kahaan seh likhte hai.

Across channels pretty much all the primetime shows are focused only on this.

What is this itv obsession with affairs, infidelity, lust, MU due to another woman or man ?! I don't understand.

Its like they cannot think of plots without ML being involved with more than 1 woman. Dont they have any other ideas for conflict apart from the pati patni voh?!

Also completely agree with your post about how at least in most shows the guy acknowledges he screwed up but our mahaan chavan has zero guilt, zero acknowledgement. My blood boiled at the audacity with which he stood there telling Shruti- Sai does not trust me, she left me, its too late, I won't prove my loyalty, she will regret one day....but I'm so mahaan I'll be there for her. Really. 🙄😡

I really can't think of any situation where a man is this smug AF and self victimizes even after he signs a birth certificate as a father of a random baby in the presence of his wife, his wife is standing there in a hospital getting introduced to her own husband as somebody else's wife- and she has NO idea WTF is going on between this woman n her husband .and he thinks she should stay calm, trust him and stay with him. Like what planet does he live on?!

I don't watch the Zee show but it sounds similar to Colors 7pm show and they made a literal khichdi of all the relationships in it.

I think it's all the trend, the pattern...one show worked on that, so they will try with others too...there was this 6:30 show with Sai ketan Rao, was better in the beginning but turned a flop, couldn't generate TRPs, so to get TRPs, last resort was EMA and triangle involving the hero...well even that could not save the show from going off air...similar story with KRPKAB season 3 where first of all the season was called off early due to low TRPs, had very less episodes, still half the episodes were dedicated to a psycho trying to get Dev, the ML who used to be perfect in previous 2 seasons was made dumbest all of a sudden... audience didn't accept and there was an uproar, even Erica commented about the creatives and was hailed and show went off-air.

Can't they for once think of a plot where FL is involved with more than one man...well, won't be accepted the way it is accepted for ML but can they atleast show her moving on from Toxicity and getting someone better in life...that's a gamble whether she gets someone better or worse but stories should have a happy ending.

Virat is a piece, never seen before character..there are really worst characters who get redeemed but never seen before such a self victimising, mahaan character...I have this urge of getting into TV and slap him, especially when he gives those weird expressions looking straight into the camera. He is literally waiting for her to apologise to him, how confident... does he know that she loves him, he is on the train of dosti...if they get divorced and finds someone else before his sahi waqt arrives. And him who introduced third angles be it in the form of Pakhi, Shruti or deal marriage, is talking about loyalty and trust...will he ever think why does he get question so often about his loyalty...well vo question to league se hi bahar hai... He said something about bharose ka ped too right...who uprooted it, him... holding hands with ex in cafe, lifting her up in front of medical college cum hospital when ambulance was just a call away, introducing himself as someone else's husband, signing a child's birth certificate when it was clearly told that it could be done by either mother/ father and mother was fully conscious. The amount of hate I feel for him is more than I feel for Pakhi and that's something...he deserved someone like Pakhi or Shruti who first vent at him but next moment are back to their dukhi abla nari avatar, making him feel important, also say sorry to him for questioning... however with Sai bai the matter goes out of hand many times and he ends up saying sorry, which hurts his ego.

Anu aunty shows why it's no. 1 show of ITV, they bring on and address many sensitive matters, mostly in the way they should be addressed.

Ghum has made a joke of relationships, morals, profession everything.

They don't have an ounce of knowledge of emotional infidelity. When Virat talks like that mahaanest soul, saying he doesn't have any relationship with Shruti or whoever..it's more of physical aspect, what about emotional..and how is it that every woman other than wife who comes into his life, her self respect is never to be found again. Sai and Virat are toxic for each other...the trust issues they have, the lack of mental peace and all those drama and fights are more than enough for them to leave IRL but IRL no one would have accepted a deal marriage too...if done too, they will leave at the first instance of ex barging into room at odd hours and spouse entertaining her.

Ya. See some amount (huge amount actually!) of liberty can be given for creative license with respect to what can and cannot be tolerated IRL versus a TV show. But making light of things like extra marital affairs is not acceptable. They can't just keep showing Virat as this guy who prioritizes other women over his wife all the time and still make him this upstanding hero we are supposed to root for. Also women who watch the show will never think of Sai as the suspicious wife who's always doubting her husband. No woman likes that. Your wife is your Number One. That's it. No option there. None ever given. But we make these kind of TV shows and movies all the time. It's disrespectful to both women and men. I have a much higher opinion of men than this TV show does.

They dont have the guts to show a new PL for Sai, for few days even for drama sake. They know people will jump up to want Sai with the new one, if the actor is good. There is no content in the character Virat and actor Neil and they know that.

That's 'leads' biggest fear that they won't be leads anymore, only be self proclaimed ones...and the PH is like their house, makers their friends so they have this liberty...at this point, if they pair sai oppose to milind/ aniket/ Ajinkya, anyone, Neil would lose the ML title, need not bring a popular face and that's unacceptable to all of them...onscreen and offscreen is a mess🥺

Oh certainly is.. They have never celebrated any of the accomplishments by Ayesha, speaks a lot about how they are a family and team. Anyway the point is , this show cannot survive a PL for Sai, because their ML is not capable enough to hold his position as a character or actor, if at all he comes into picture. Hence Sai will always have to be with Virat, even for a break she would not have a man around her, to let Virat know where he went wrong.
