This is taking up on Q from Neerja’s update today.
I agree when she said that Virat has killed the child in Sai. I remember how he admired and boasted of that childlike quality in her, her innocence. He had spoken about it so proudly, so fondly with Patralekha. But today with his actions he killed that aspect of hers. An integral part of her personality.
Yes, she is brave. She is strong. And while she is broken and hurt she is still putting up a strong front, and is displaying the courage to move on and rebuild her life.
But she is human, a young 19-20 yr old, she is hurting and a part of her is dead. While Virat has been claiming to let Sai hate him rather put her life at risk, he has broken her beyond repair. She will move on, the wound may heal and it would not hurt so much, yet there is a part in her that is dead. She will fix herself, like hell she will, but the scars will be there. And Virat is the culprit. But the irony is neither does he realise it, and never will he acknowledge it. Because when he is hurt or the situation is not in his favour he fails to see the pain beyond himself. He doesn’t realise that she is no longer the Sai he claims to be in love with. He has no right to decide what is good for her without her knowledge and consent. He can’t force the decisions on her. It is her right and only hers
What is it about living? Mental peace, contentment, happiness, love or mere breaths? O2 is life, but does only having abundance of O2 to breathe define living? Is it worth living? A person has an inherent character and the aspects of it form their individuality, something that they identify with as themselves. Losing that, means losing your self. And no one has a right to snatch that away from a fellow human, however close he/she may be.
Sai may move on, achieve success, get over the hurt, and betrayal, but she will never be the same again. And Virat can never be pardoned for this!
