Were Virat and Sai into each other before marriage?

It might be a wishful thinking but everytime I see the pre wedding scenes between them, it feels like they were into each other.

The scene where Virat is talking to Pakhi on her wedding night and Sai hears part of his conversation. And when she goes to give him prasad at his quarters and she hears the name Pakhi, it sticks to her head.

And the whole rescue fiasco, there were strong protective vibes from Virat's end.

Don't take me wrong, I don't think there was anything sexual. But there was something. I just can't put a label on it.

Also, off the topic - Virat in GC was at the peak of his hotness.

Theres a certain chemistry in Sairat scenes in GC n early days of marriage when they were essentially strangers which is sometimes missing now when they are actually much closer. I think its to do with direction/BG music/camera angles.... The scenes were shot in such a way that there was palpable chemistry.

Even I had not seen the promo and seen only a random scene of Sairat in GC, I'd know that these 2 would end up together.

Yes, there was...for me the best scene is post the safe house fiasco, in the car, when she feels like hugging him and stops midway, her hands practically around him.

Virat was almost like, "Why did you stop? go ahead?"

He was too hot then. Abhi he is fuuuuuus...like a deflated balloon.

Actually i got a sense that Sai was a little possessive or affected by Virat talking to pp even before the marriage in GC. It bothered her subconsciously even then. And obviously post marriage it definitely affects her when Virat has anything to do with pp ....

And Virat definitely had a connection with her from get go. From the time he heard KJ mention Sai as the state topper, he had always had this bond. And even in pre marriage GC days he had expectations. He wanted her respect, he wanted her to pick up the phone, he wanted her to talk to him on the phone- he prolonged the conversation when she misdialed and started talking to him instead of aabaa, he wanted to do things for her and expected her acknowledgement too.

I always felt that there was an underlying attraction between them. My most favourite scene was the way he left the Samrakhi wedding to save her from Jagtap. And yes, he is a shadow of who he was then. I loved him in GC.

That was one of my favorite scene where he doesn't even care to look back at Pakhi and is off to save Sai . That's where the 1st time I felt he never loved her and was always into Sai though unknowingly

Sai had a little crush on him that time like any other teen..

Virat is a confusing character to me.. I really don't know what makes Sai special to him.. Now a days I can't fathom his behaviour..often I think if Pakhi had the same fatal accident would he show this much care and love to her.. His behaviour makes me believe that so he certainly would..

However in GC it did look like Virat was pretty much intimidated by her since the day they met.. He would put up with her rudeness without any complaints and also was very caring towards her.. So that emotional attachment started to build from GC itself..
