most notably in a very long running show of SP they got the Humshakal FL married to her old boyfriend but later on in 2 -3 weeks killed him off to get her back to ML family ..

It has happened in a very popular show depicting child-bride. The initial leads' story was developed parallely after their separation - that probably contributed to the longevity of the show. If they had got back together, they would have had to introduce forced storylines. So in that way also, i feel this will be a better option.

Virat's actions have crossed too far into the immoral - from story perspective, SaiRat have become unpalatable. Sai has plenty of flaws ....she too has made a lot of mistakes in the relationship. An equal 'takkar' between Virat and Sai would have made for an interesting recipe - both hurting each other, the angst, the pain, the greys in their characters. But by taking this route (abuse) makers have killed the enthusiasm for SaiRat although it will be well received amongst the trp audience for various reasons.

Hmm... interesting take that CVs don't have any say. Could be. I do agree that StarPlus's shows are run by the FLs. No wonder most MLs are written in such a pathetic way. There is absolutely no scope for an ML's character arc ....and no need either. It such a bore. But there have been instances where MLs were not this bad....a very successful StarPlus's show featuring a dentist FL marrying a married divorced father...that was Ekta Kapoor's. I wish Ghum was also like that....but no point in dwelling.

In most of the shows they show fl ending up with other man only when ml has EMA. Be it child bride, silsila or starplus top show. As far as I know dentist fl & divorced father marriage relationship also toxic. There ml kept insulting fl for not being good mother to his kids despite fl doing many things for his kids selflessly. Samrat is a very level headed person and can't be fooled by emotions like Virat. He was perfect in his dialogs and his tone when he talked with people. Stole my heart really .. why can't Pakhi see this 😄

Pulkit was there for Sai like a adviser, guardian and someone who she can always look upto. 🤩

Elders ke bare mein baat na hi kare to better hai ... 😝 To an extent their point that Sai should attend the pooja is understandable because elders always give preference to traditions but what shocks me is that they find NOTHING wrong in locking up Sai by Virat 😝 they have lost their marbles in their childhood itself I guess 😂

Sai is having the best dialogs in this week... Each and every dialog is to the point.

Kaash Virat and Sai can have such an open dialog with each other and sort things out instead of hurting each other and hurling insults at each other. But Virat is giving her no such option. He is being a complete idiot and he would surely regret it😝

And I know with full assurance that star plus has total control of the female leads .. they are the brand ambassadors.. over here the story also belongs to them as KD was shown in star jalsa… CVS have no control of how the female lead is going to get dressed up and what her story arch will be ..

@red Oh ok. Good reason to avoid starplus shows 😆. More focussed on TRP grossing elements rather than a well-balanced story.

I still don't understand why Virat was changed a little from Rono. I don't think TRP aunties care about ML...why did they tweak him...if they wanted him to be Rono all along?

After a long long long LONGEST time I got an episode which has a re-watch value.. And the episode belongs to Yogendra.. He stole the show today...His dialogue delivery, the voice modulation, the steely anger , the scream , the looks he gave to Sai's husband everything was perfect... Finally someone could stand strongly against the man who suffers from Survival complex. Who thinks to give her punishment he can treat the way he wants...Who also denied to apologise to the woman he claims to love for locking her in the room to "punish" her "not for 10 minutes" but for almost half a day... Pulkit was a strong character but the actor is very underwhelming... In KD the actors was class apart... Also I loved Samrat more than Badshah.. The reason why Virat treats Sai the way he does in anger is because she has no one to fight for her, no family question him, no one he owes and answer to... Had Samrat been not there, his ego , his anger his crime would have been justified by the Chavans....with Shivani and Mansi making faces and Aai finding the reason begging Virat taking the decision instead of going to free her..Also the three would have gone to tell her Virat k gusse ki piche k emotions ko dekho.... Today Virat was told he was wrong, when he was not ready to accept it.. Elders expect her to attend the Pooja which is very basic , but letting her be locked in a room for hours and praise the son for "punishing" his wife, domestically abusing her is extremely extremely vile of them... Would they ever do that to Patralekha if she makes a mistake? Would they let it all go ?

I also loved what Samrat spoke about medical studies and medical college... that too when one is on scholarship... Its shameful for someone who valued education to have allowed all this at his home, which has led Sai to miss so many classes because of the family members he has...He brings up her missing classes when she is wanting to participate in the fest but denies to talk about it making fases when she says its because of your family....He took the responsibility and he was failing there big time..The man looked shameless when he kept denying to give the key...

Also the way Patralekha saw his anger and was threatened...

yes samrat was very good .. I just want all the misdeeds of last year to be exposed to samrat .. he should see pakhi’s ugly face before sitting for Puja
