What does Virat see in Pakhi?

Virat has seen Pakhi behave viciously. We have seen her shamelessly come after Virat so many times, she practically harasses him. He has seen his wife brutally attacked on her bday (He thought Didi pushed Sai), even manhandled Pakhi for it. He saw her show not even a hint of remorse after Sai’s accident, despite orchestrating the whole stunt. Even during Harinee’s bday, she blindly supported Kaku and her jhooti shaan, she never felt bad for Devi, not even as a fellow woman. She always tried to undermine Sai and highlight her faults in front of the family. She behaved poorly during Shivani Bua’s Amey incident.

Judging by a handful of incidents, anybody could see how vile that woman is. Why not Virat?

He has heard her say multiple times that she doesn’t feel anything for Samrat and with all the above mentioned wonderful qualities how will she make a perfect wife for Samrat?

Is he thinking that Pakhi is like his Sonali Kaku.. when Omi Kaka is happy all these years.. why not Samrat?

Is he thinking that there is goodness hidden somewhere in her.. the same goodness made him fall for her.. and it shall emerge on seeing Samrat’s love?

What makes him still say she is his friend??

Because he is a manipulative in nature . He wants to be with both the women Pakhi and Sai as he is a two timer . He wants to stay close to Pakhi in the pretext of being her friend

I don’t think he can ever be one.. he had multiple opportunities to stray.. he never did. I just want to explore the reason for still considering Pakhi a friend.. was it his Vaada?? He already broke one.. he doesn’t want to break another?

Yes she has been so vile and he has seen it personally how cruel she has been to Sai whom he calls love of his love. He still considers her his friend which is shocking and best match or some kind match for his brother😆.

We have seen his actions and words where it was clear he does see how vile she is and he himself said once you start knowing the person your feelings change. Also after Sai's accident he says go however low you want but you cannot separate us. So yes he sees she is vile and has told her so in the past. But still he pushed all of these truths under the rug and considers she is a victim of circumstances and she is only this vile because first Samrat left and then he fell in love with Sai and she was all alone. So now he is trying to make amends, save her like he did yesterday at the expense of others and will do so in future. He is guilt ridden and will do whatever it takes to make her happy or atleast what he thinks will make her happy like Samrakhi🤣. On the whole it will always be Pakhi is a pure soul who is a vicitm of circumstances and he will keep supporting her😆

Am a bit busy today but my quick response. Virat knows how vile Pakhi is towards Sai and he doesn’t forget it. Even at the cafe, he was not letting her cross her limit or even mention Sai. He has always put her in her place when it comes to Sai. But, in terms of his “softness” towards her…that is due to his own guilt and desire to make amends with his jeeva. He wants both of them to have a shot at life together and that desire along with the emotions causing that desire are currently all consuming for him. It’s not that he has forgotten what Pakhi has done nor is he pushing it aside. Rather, he is hoping that she can have a new beginning….

First thing, he believes and to some extend it's true, that what ever pakhi did is because of her jealous towards sai .... I agree pakhi have no empathy towards anyone but either virat or even sai think that, they feel she is doing all these stuff only out of jealous. They actually don't know that pakhi wrote the letter and all

Second he thinks they are people in same boat kind of people... I mean to say they were in same boat... Heart broken and all but virat got a chance to come out of it with the help of sai by being with her, he got that chance which he grabbed it ...but according to him pakhi is still in that boat of heartbreak bcoz she didn't got the chance , so that's the reason he is trying to give her that chance...

Virat has seen what all Pakhi had done. He also knows that she hates Sai. He has come to understand why she hates Sai. As others have said, he will be attributing all of her actions to be as a result of jealousy. He himself had crossed lines quite a few times in jealousy. I think he probably will be able to relate to it.

He has come to know that Samrat wanted to know what her decision would be. He doesn’t want his brother’s marriage to be broken because of his past action. Even though he has come to know that Pakhi has been staying back for him and has not waited for Samrat, he has also come to know that Samrat also left her because of their past. He has been the reason for the both of them to be in this position in one way or the other. So even if he knows what Pakhi wants, the chances of Pakhi to start a new life with Samrat was spoilt in a way because of him too because Samrat grew upset with Virat that his own brother had deceived him and left the house.

He has always been thinking that everything will become alright and that Pakhi will start feeling better once Samrat returns. This was his thought before he came to know of her feelings and expectations and after too.

Now that so many truths has come out, he wants to fix them. He wants to make amends.

He must be thinking that once Pakhi gives a chance to herself, she would be able to move on just like how he himself did. People will have to spend some time in order to understand the other person and he must be thinking that Pakhi will be able to see goodness in Samrat once she starts to live with Samrat.

Even if he doesn’t love Pakhi, even if he thinks that she is not whom he thought to be, even if he is impressed only with Sai and loves Sai, I think he is able to see that Samrat saw something in Pakhi in the past and his brother still sees a life partner in her. He is able to see how upset Samrat has been because of this whole issue which has pushed him to think that Samrat would still want to give a chance to their relationship if Pakhi is willing to.

About her acting Vile or helping Kaku, I think he just knows that she has supported Kaku but must be thinking that she wouldn’t have known their intention behind doing it. Pakhi anyway didn’t know that Kaku did all of this only for jhoothi Shan. It looked at the party as if Kaku shared a part of the secret with Pakhi and not the entire truth.

Also, whatever Pakhi did, not everyone needs to be the same. He has seen Kaku now, has seen Sonali also acting mean, has seen Karishma too acting mean, so I think he must be thinking that Pakhi’s nature can’t be a reason for him to stop his brother from leading his life with her. It should be Samrat’s decision. Doesn’t Mohit stay with Karishma even if Karishma does a few mean things?

His own mom stays with his Dad. He has even forgiven Kaku, his Dad and Omi, then Pakhi’s wrong doings are not as bad as theirs. Will Samrat disown them if he comes to know of the truth?

I think people accept their partners as they are. Some people change or get influenced by their partners. So there are high chances of Pakhi too to change once she starts to live with Samrat.

One more thing that we need to see is that Pakhi was chosen by his family for Samrat. If he wasn’t in the picture at all, wouldn’t they have worked out their relationship with however Pakhi was? One thing is that Pakhi might not have done a few things because she had done those due to jealousy. But that also shows that she can act that vile. But all these qualities were anyway there in her and Samrat would have anyway lived with her if not for their past. So I don’t think Virat is going to look at all those qualities of hers and tell Samrat that Pakhi is not suitable for him as his wife or suitable as bahu of the house.

He wouldn’t want to spoil anyone’s life. He just be thinking that everyone deserves a chance and so does Pakhi. Let’s also not forget that Virat was the same guy who gave a chance to a college boy who was harassing a girl saying that his future will get spoilt.

Here not only Pakhi is his brother’s wife, she is also a person whom he had asked to marry his brother. Even if he doesn’t have feelings for her and has realised that it was an infatuation, he had shown her dreams unknowingly. And top of it, Samrat left the house because of this past which he doesn’t even think existed. So to be honest, Pakhi has been at loss and is in this state which could have been avoided.

So, he is only going to try to see that her future doesn’t get spoilt. It will be their decision to give it a chance of end it anyway, be it now or later.

1st para - I agree.. Virat forgave his dad, Kaku and Omi for their criminal behavior too.. though Pakhi is a psycho.. as far he is concerned, he never knew her committing criminal acts.. so he might still want her to have a shot on normal life.

2nd para - I would not generalize, these are exceptions.. if everybody could accept their partners as they are or change by getting influenced by their partners.. there won’t be marital problems or there won’t be a need for divorce. Mostly people tolerate their partner’s flaws and transgressions out of their fear to live alone, blind love, kids or societal pressures.

IMO She has crossed the point where she could have been saved by love and good influence. May be some day she will get some self awareness and choose to help herself by approaching a psychiatrist and get appropriate counseling.

She’s beautiful and his first love so the benefit of doubt and soft corner will always be there.
