If this show is a remake of KD and they’re copy pasting every track, why aren’t they honest with the script? In KD after Samrat exposed Pakhi, family members were not babysitting Pakhi like they’re doing in Chavan Niwas. Even Shivani, Mohit and Ashwini in some recent episode were being “extra” nice and empathising with her. The episode and dialogues in KD were different!!!

It’s absurd, unrealistic and comical that family are siding with the daughter in law over their own son when their son has come back with some serious allegations and even confessed that he left the house for this very DIL they’re babying.

As if domestic violence and abuse weren’t enough now the genre is “comedy.”

As per quite a many interviews given by the cast, crew and creatives of this show they view Pakhi as a victim of circumstance and a grey character. Their POV is sympathetic towards her inspite of her gaslighting, bullying and going strongly ahead with morally incorrect actions.

The writing, dialogues and scenes with the other central side characters of this show reflect this perspective of the team which somehow quite a many in the audience do not connect with.

And it doesn't look like they are going to tone down this sympathy anytime soon considering their ignorance to every message that different sections of the fandom try to convey through trends. Or the dissatisfaction communicated w.r.t copy/paste butchering of characters.

So, this unrelatable comedy will continue in all respects for a few weeks atleast unless they want to pause and truly reflect why the audience is complaining at large about so many aspects of the show.

No offense to anyone who sympathises with Pakhi as a character or believes she deserves the support she receives for her actions, this is just an opinion.

In all honesty any normal family will try to confront atleast once to understand why a woman married one son of their family when she loved another irrespective of how nice she is or emotionally manipulated she felt. Here they defend her without knowing a single instance of her past😆

This is an indirect show the negative character is the actual and true female lead of the show, viewers just need to understand.

Maybe you’re right, Alujna.

And thank you for the elaborate response @tapdance! It’s difficult to empathise with an abuser. Most viewers don’t even ship SaiRat anymore because of Virat’s abusive nature but i reckon since they’re getting the TRP numbers they desire they believe whatever crap they’re serving is well accepted by the audience, hence it’s highly unlikely for them to discontinue the clownery.

Even I am trying to understand that since Samrat came back and has revealed the entire truth to the

family why are they not questioning patralekha. Samrat's statement proves that what Sai has been saying all these days was true what she had had to handle indirectly but they are all pampering patralekha. In fact I was hoping for a full showdown between Samrat mother and Virat and pakhi for taking her son away from her but yahan to ulti ganga beh rahin hain. In laws supporting their daughter in law over son is a noble thought to show but didn't Sai deserve that as well leking woh sirf patralekha ke liye hain 🤔
