Sid Vankar on Sai being one of the reasons for the success of Ghum-IF - Page 3

Initially even I was attracted to Sai's character more than Virat's. She was fire. Apart from the SaiRat chemistry, Sai was the reason I actually gave it a try. That Sai is Ghum nowdays. Now all her concern is related to Pakhi and they have made her a confused soul. I really hope we will get the old Sai back. 😔

Now I understand why didi's kand is always whitewashed by them, time and again showing didi as victim and she is always crying just to gain audience sympathy but we troll her like anything😆 It's sad that they are not praising the person who brought life to the character... So "professional" they are.... In short hum sab ne in logo ka popat bana diya🤣 tabhi inko Sai lucky lagti hai actually jalli inki ki bandi ki acting itni convincing lagi hume k hume Sai k liye bura lagta hai aur Pakhi ka gussa ata hai😆... Yeah toh inko expected nhi tha... Ab kadi se kadi jud rahi hai dosto... Interviews ka raaz khul gaya.... Dekhana tha Virat aur Pakhi ko lead but audience ne mana Virat aur Sai lead... Now toh I love Sai Joshi even more ❤️ more power to Ayesha❤️🤗👍🏼

Exactly same thing happened to me... I stopped watching ITV after YUDKBH ended but few months back I accidentally came across a reel of Sai on insta and I was amazed... The way she gives it back to whomsoever throws garbage at her... I fallen for Sai Joshi... And then I started watching this serial only and only for her... I still remember that clip where Sai took stand for her Abba in front of Kaku at her wedding Reception thats my personal favourite...

Clearly I started watching for Sai the character. But I am still watching because of Ayesha who plays Sai. She brings an innocence to the character that is endearing.

Meaning they meant to show her as something else entirely but audience fell in love with her character either way? It would explain why certain cast members and media people keep on calling Sai badtameez over and over again cuz that is what they intended to show. But to their surprise audience actually fell in love with a girl who gives it back to elders with interest no matter their age.

Reminds me of this clip I came across recently on IG where Sai comes back from college and does full on act of media expose on Chavan family and their reaction to her. Gosh I miss that fearless and blunt Sai Joshi

I guess he actually meant that sai's character is written in such a way that she is coming out as a different, unique heroine for tv viewers. So people fall in love with the uniqueness.

OT, I'm glad that he finally acknowledged sai being main reason for success of show. Same time it's so sad that he didn't acknowledged ayesha's effort in making her super hit. Most of viewers got hooked because of the fire ball named sai joshi who is lost now. And ayesha made her more innocent and charming with her screen presence and cuteness.
