I am absolutely loving Samrat. He has pieced together Sai and Virat's entire situation in just a few days. I keep saying that he is a fresh pair of eyes, but he also knows Virat better than anyone else and deeply understands Sai's pain. It seems clear that he is going to be the person Sai has been needing this entire time... and not just in terms of figuring out her relationship with Virat, but also in terms of having a person who will stand by her side unwaveringly.
Seeing most people in zillat today praising Sai instead of bashing her was a refreshing change. Even the usual vultures didn't have much to say to counter her praises.
Coming to Virat's attitude towards Sai. There is an important distinction between him acting this way to hurt her and him acting this way to protect himself. And, it is quite clear from the past few episodes that the reason he is acting is this way is the latter. He is doing exactly what Sai has been doing this entire time. His heart will never stop loving her, but his mind has put up walls, causing him to act harsh and indifferent in order to cover up his vulnerabilities. He does not think that Sai will ever understand him. He does not think that she will ever accept this marriage. So, he has lost all hope and he has given up. He wants to save himself from any further heartbreak...exactly like Sai has wanted to save herself the heartbreak, using her brash exterior to cover up how she truly feels.
The morning scene between Sai and Virat was so painful. Virat told Sai not to take care of him, but Sai told him point blank that she does not need his permission. With Virat growing distant, Sai is asserting her rights over him more and more clearly. She is fighting for and reminding him of her rights over him, because these rights have been real to her all along. She just has been unable to let herself accept them. Again, Virat is failing miserably in his indifference- he went on a long tangent complimenting how Sai always stands up for the truth and got so carried away that he did not even realize what he was doing. The second he saw her face, he stopped and shook his own head...he himself knows that he is being quite unsuccessful at what he is trying to do. Sai basically told Virat that he has to tell the truth now, because there is no other option left. She once again indirectly asked him for clarification, but he was unable to comprehend what she was saying. In his mind, he knows bright and clear what the truth is, and again, he expects everyone to just understand his truth without him saying anything. Because, he is once again wallowing in his own emotions.
Virat saying that he is uncomfortable with Sai taking care of him absolutely broke Sai. Ayesha killed this scene. She was trying so hard to keep herself composed, but she could not stop her tears. This attitude from Virat is destroying her piece by piece....and she does not even understand why it is happening. Virat using the word "uncomfortable" impacted her more than anything else he said, because to her, there is nothing more comfortable than her relationship with Virat. Up until this point, regardless of the deal, zimidari, and guardianship, both of them have been each other's comfort. She has accepted it fully...but for Virat to say this, was an attack on everything she holds to be true. Despite all of her hurt, she said she does not care and will take care of him regardless. She can tolerate this behavior...she can tolerate anything...she just cannot tolerate Virat in pain.

Coming to the dreaded cafe invitation. First and foremost, I want to say that it is absolutely wrong of Virat to agree to go to the cafe. There is no denying that. But, I think there is more to it than just that... it is more complicated than that.
Virat thinks that Sai has already made up her mind. He thinks that no matter what, she will continue believing that this marriage is a deal, and that he feels for Pakhi. He thinks that nothing will ever change that. He has lost all hope in that regard. So, when he agrees to go to the cafe, he does not think it will impact Sai nor his relationship with her. Had the anniversary fight not happened, perhaps he would have given it a second thought...but since then, he has given up. This was evident when Sai came into the bedroom and told Virat and Pakhi that she did not want to interrupt their personal conversation. To Virat, there was no such thing happening...but, Sai's words just reaffirmed, to him, what he is already believing. That, Sai has made up her mind, and that is all. He looked extremely frustrated, and he looked even more pained and frustrated when Pakhi said that Virat is Sai's. Because, that is not true for him anymore. No matter what he does (in his mind), nothing will be able to make him her's and her his. He thought that his actions should have been enough for Sai to understand him, and he now believes that nothing will clear her misunderstanding. I'm not undermining the fact that this entire mess has been created because Virat did not clear up the past in the first place. Rather, I'm trying to look at things from his perspective.
In terms of Virat being inconsiderate towards Samrat. Virat is so deep into his own guilt regarding his role in ruining his marriage, that he will do anything he has to do to fix it. If meeting Pakhi outside the house can make things better, he will do that too. He is not going to think about how this will all look to Samrat, and that is just who he is. His emotions prevent him from considering other people's POVs. In his mind, he assumes that what Pakhi wants to talk about has to be about Samrat. Also, it is clear how cold and distant he was acting towards Pakhi. He was shocked that she even entered his bedroom, and his eyes were wandering searching for Sai. The second their conversation ended, he turned his back towards her. He asked her if she spoke to Samrat, again showing his desperation for them to work things out. All in all, I really do believe that Virat has assumed that Pakhi's important talk is about Samrat and her marriage with him. That is why he has agreed to meet her... no matter how dumb his decision is.
Sai seeing them both together in the room broke my heart even further. She was trying so hard to not let it impact her. And even so, she still suppressed her feelings in order to be able to take care of Virat. She does not deserve any of this even in the slightest. I don't understand those who think that she had this coming 😭
Virat's dialogue at the end spoke volumes- he said that he cannot understand Sai... these are the exact words that Sai has said about Virat time and time again. Virat said that Sai cares about his health, but not his feelings. He cannot see that the reason she cares so deeply about his health is because she is in love with him. He is misunderstanding her actions as something other than love, and this is exactly what Sai has been doing this entire time too. Both of them are unable to understand each other. Virat isn't realizing that the reason Sai is unable to see his feelings is because of how the past is haunting her and how he himself has failed to clear everything up time and time again. And again, even in Virat's indifference, he was still concerned about Sai missing her college and her studies suffering because of him.

A quick thing about Pakhi. It is so vile how she is manipulating this entire situation in attempt to get Virat to meet her at the cafe. She is acting all innocent, trying to appear as if she understands the boundaries between herself and Virat. Her telling Sai that Virat is her's was honestly a despicable act. She is again trying to save her face in front of Virat so that she can accomplish what she is intending to do at the cafe. Sai looked so confused and kind of taken aback when Pakhi said this... she looked towards Virat, almost in search of some type of affirmation that this could be true. But, he was too deep in his own pain to see this....
