I was ROFL when pp asked samrat ... he should have given her chance to explain.... what ??? his wife just confessed her love to someone else... in front of him... should he wait for clarification or until he catches them red handed ???

He is both. But people are angry with him it's because he is behaving too selfish. He didn't think about his mother nor his farz an army officer. The writers have completely ruined the image people had of him before he left.

I know Samrat did wrong by leaving his mother without any notice but my objection is it’s Virat n Pakhi who r gaslighting him more than his own mother n rest of the family which is highly embarrassing n pathetic to think abt. Virat is all teary and devdas cuz after his wife rejected his controversial love but expect from Samrat for a chance to explain. Samrat is partly a victim and partly otherwise.

Him leaving his family for one or rather two nut job was not necessary. Leaving the army itself was not necessary.

Confrontation at the same time would have not really helped much, just that yeh saara drama tabhi hi khatam ho jata... And shayad sai ka story alag hota....

Assuming he would have spoken and decided to seperate from Patraleka immediately, virat might have been booked item and sai could not have been married to an engaged person...... Then she might have just come there and done her studies.
