Atleast in the earlier days of sairat marriage the way virpak used to spend alone time kind of bordered on emo cheating since even Vir was not totally over her. It's in a grey zone depending on how u look at it

The issue is not about having friends of opp gender but being friends with your ex with whom.you still have a emo connect intact. Plus u have a stupid vaada in the pic. now for me that's grey zone.

Plus him not berating her when sai is being insulted bullied without rem that she has no one but him. Aai does not really have much of a voice. He expects her to adjust to toxic mentality handle heavy chores and studies despite it being a deal marriage. She did not have a choice here

So vir having Sai is like a tinke ka sahara. It would have looked worse is what I think. But it's difficult to speculate what ifs
