Reimagining DevKit wedding & SaiRat separation

We all had been massively disappointed with the DevKit wedding track and Sai's subsequent ousting. I for one wanted to quit the show, but IF pulled me right back in.

There were two major problems with the track

1. The entire DevKit wedding fiasco - the plot holes were so ridiculous even for ITV standards
2. Domestic abuse - Domestic abuse by Virat was used as a means to bring about SaiRat separation. It was the most disturbing thing I've seen on ITV.

DevKit wedding fiasco - If logic was a person, he/she would have committed suicide. Virat, an IPS officer starts doubting Pulkit based on just one anonymous letter. Later, Sai manages convince him to re-investigate after Holi. But the same Sai decides to help Devi elope on Holi - what was so special about holi? God knows. I'm going to ignore the kidnapping track since it was introduced due to circumstances.

Sai's ousting - Uff...the domestic abuse. Can't think about it without my blood boiling. I get it that they wanted SaiRat separation and also wanted to establish Virat learning to trust Sai post this track. But there had to be a better way to show separation, pain, anger and angst.

Let us discuss how this track could have played out - so that it was logical and didn't involve domestic abuse - and achieved the twin purpose of DevKit wedding and SaiRat separation.

I'd like to re-imagine the track and try to remove the crap we were given from my memory.

I wrote one - predictably without a plot 🤣

If we discuss the possible plot for this, someone can collate everything and write an FF on it.

Will help to remove the trauma that was the plot.

I always wanted Sai to take Virat's help. It would have been much better if on the day Sairat talked on video call Sai would have told Aai that she wants to talk to Veeru alone for a bit , while Ashwini would have teased her a little she would have left her alone too and Sai could have given Veeru brief summary and told him about everything she heard Trimurti discussing in Kaku's room and sent him that video of Pulkit as evidence.

Sai could have also taken Mohit's help he would have believed her and Veeru could have included Sunny in all this. Mohit and Sunny wouldn't have difficulty in feigning ignorance on this information.

Someone should write an FF on this I can only manage short OS 😂😂

But how would SaiRat separation happen if Virat knew the truth?

Oooh !! I knew I forgot to write something even after editing the comment 🤦🤦 I seriously don't want Sairat to be separated because of Devkit marriage I wanted Sai to leave because of not being able to anymore handle Chavans and Didi's constant insult and taunts and Veeru being almost silent and telling her to adjust. It would have been a reality check and slap on Veeru's face it would have been even better if Sai broke down first and Veeru witness her mental breakdown and see how much she's affected then Sai should have packed her stuff and leave CV but only after bursting out at Veeru telling him how much his family torture her mentally and how much his silence affects her. I actually wanted Sai to tell him that you are free of your forced responsibility now so your love or commitment would be very happy so you should be happy too.

Here Veeru's redemption should have been better by him learning to not let his emotions and love towards his family cloud his judgement and see that his dil ke acche gharwale are not that acche in reality and change himself slowly and learn to speak up not only for Sai but for Mohit , Aai , Shivani and Karishma too.
