The thing with Sai is that she is not emotive much... no grand gestures, and whatever she feels, needs to be deciphered from her unsaid words, or from her casually thrown statement.

And that is where Virat becomes her ideal partner, even though they are poles apart. He isa calm man, he reads people, thinks over their words, actions and expressions.

To him, Sai is an open book. And that is why he let go of her bitter words, because he understands the reasons, not the words... 😳

Honestly, am speechless. I cannot even describe in words how beautiful this was. For once, to me, it wasn't about Sairat but about those many many police, military, navy and air force officers and their families. some who go away only to come back as beautiful memories. Immense respect for these protectors of the nation and the sacrifices their families make. This is exactly what I had in mind when I was writing this... the kind of sacrifices the families make are often romanticized and glamourized, but the daily anxiety and pain and uncertainty that they live with, is very, very real!
