At this point, he would never do anything to hurt her to the point where she tries to kill herself...an argument is ok and warranted even for them to understand each other better...

Her insecurity is due to his words before marriage, during marriage, many scenes that she has witnessed between Pakhi and Viratafter marriage, his biased attitude many a times towards Pakhi, Pakhi’s open love for Virat. Nicely said... my problem is still that even though Virat is madly in love with Sai, even he hasn't made it clear how he feels about her. Even yesterday, when he said she's his life partner, he quickly changed the topic and took the conversation in another direction. Sai is still coming to terms with her own feelings, but in her mind, Pakhi is still part of the equation and the marriage is still somewhat of a deal. Yes, she should be beyond that because Virat is so deeply caring and loving towards her even though he hasn't said it in words. But, from her perspective, it makes sense. She is living in the same house with her husband's ex, because of whom her husband told her not to expect anything on their wedding day. Yes, a lot has happened since then. But in my mind, that must be playing a part in Sai's confusion too. She sees how caring and loving Virat is towards her, but everyone needs validation and affirmation. Maybe that is also playing a part in her recent indifference. She is falling for him, but not only is she confused, but she doesn't know if she should be allowed to feel this way either. On the other hand, Virat is totally justified too. He respects Sai's boundaries and therefore doesn't want to cross any line. But, for him to feel so insecure as to bash her so heavily (hopefully he doesn't) would quite frankly make no sense. He sees how deeply Sai cares for him too. Aai and Sunny have explained to him too. Even though Sai doesn't realize it or say it, he SEES it. Just like Sai SEES it from him. That is where the problem is. There is just a lack of communication between the two. But, their relationship is developing and deepening. Any bashing or characterless accusations resulting in a suicide attempt will truly ruin the magic that is being created here...

I know why he can feel insecured but his actions if they show to be really bad cannot be justified at all.

Sai has been assuming only recently but that’s her misunderstanding or assumptions because Virat’s feelings had changed which he himself never expected but her understanding about him and Pakhi was the truth for sometime actually. She just is not aware of the change in status of his commitment. Sai misunderstood him recently after the pool incident. After the Ladakh trip cancellation, she asked him straightforward questions which he failed to answer.

The point is not whether he can feel insecured or not, he too can get insecured, I have been able to understand his hesitation in the past, now, he is going by Sunny’s words to know her feelings when he can actually confess his feelings. Earlier, he used to think that she doesn’t like him, doesn’t care for him, it all changed and he could see a lot of changes in her after he got shot. He could have easily confessed but chose to find out about her feelings. She had a reason to have her walls high, not sure about his reason now. I could understand his hesitation in the past, not now. The reason for Sai’s insecurity is entirely different, he himself is a reason for it. I do agree that he has also put in efforts in this relationship but he had also spoilt it every time on his own. Right now, when things are going smooth, I wish he can put an end to what he started during their wedding.

I agree ....the point is not about whether he is going to be insecure or not. It is understandable that he will be insecure...

The point is about how he is going to react ....getting manipulated, jumping to conclusions, character assassination....that is totally unacceptable (and silly because of where they are on their relationship now))
