Superb analysis Siya....👏

Sai and Virat scene is so much domestic, realistic and natural 😍.... this shows growth of their relationship and them completely accepting each other as their spouses..... Sai exerting her rights as wife.... she openly telling her worry for him....

Yes... what you said is true.... dynamics in joint families and nuclear families is completely different......

As you said Sai is getting attached to family because of Virat... I think these tracks shows Chavan's and us how much Sai cares for them... today she broke down because she is done with the taunts they give her daily without even trying to understand her because she earning to be part of this family....

Thanks for tagging me....

As usual, you hit the nail or nails in the right place. Sairat and family.

I watched only Sairat today. I had a sense of foreboding when he stood at the door and looked back at her. I think ..this is the problem knowing what happened. Are we overthinking 🤔

Otherwise the Sairat scene was perfect.

Thanks for the tag😳

Amazingly written Post👍🏼 This is the kind of post you write running on two hours of sleep.

👏👏👏👏

First things first, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai moment.

That Harini birthday party sequence in which Virat hugged Sai and held Pakhi's hand, many forum wasi connected it to Tina, Rahul, Anjali scene ( even though I didn't see it that way) but even if it was meant to show that, then we can see if in that scene Sai was Tina, here she is Anjali. So in our Rahul's (Virat's😆) life both Tina and Anjali are one person-Sai😳😆

Next coming to Virat-Sai scene, I have seen a few clips and haven't watched in full, will watch the episode later. I love how domestic they have become. Even though Sai is all wifey with him, she still does not show her full haq. She justifies her manner around him by saying that she is his wife just because he said he is her husband. The precap shows the hesitance of accepting it as a full fledged marriage on her part. Gradually, she will learn to come to terms with her insecurities and accept the relationship completely with all haq😳

As far as the dreaded track is concerned, it will be best if they don't show it.

But

I might be the only one who doesn't mind it if it happens, (but not because of Virat please) because I have seen her giving it back to the family word for word, tit for tat, time and time again, over the time, I started feeling that any other person in her place would've broken down long ago. It's amazing that she survived till now. She is a young girl, lost her father, hears taane all day, and tries to be strong every single second of her life. Recently her feelings for Virat have started melting that wall that she has building herself. It's getting hard for her to pretend that she isn't affected by all the obvious bias and injustice in the family. Earlier she was her own woman, a one woman army among a group of strangers. Now she's getting attached. It makes sense that she is losing control slowly. Her walls are crumbling before her eyes. They are gradually showing her breaking down bit by bit. I might sound cruel but her attempting suicide in this situation makes sense. Virat is away on a dangerous mission. Pakhi is getting on her nerves. The family is isolating her. She'll be feeling more lonely than ever before. She's already felt that loneliness when her Aaba died. She's already vulnerable. It can make for a good track if I see it from a story point of view.

Another alternative can be her break down (no suicide) and her crying bitterly on the floor and Virat enters just in time. And they decide to move out for good (main bhi kya sapne dekh rahi hu) but they can show her regaining her strength as Virat comes back.

I just don't want Virat to be the reason for this attempt.

Thank you for taking the time to write the analysis. ❤️

Virat and Sai are slowly getting more and more comfortable with each other. Sai is certainly lowering her guard with him - since he jataofied his haq on her. There is a rapidly increasing intimacy between them.

Coming to zillat arena, it is painful to see Sai slowly breaking apart piece by piece - to the point that she wishes she were dead.😭 Sai is being reduced to wanting love and acceptance from the very people who abuse her. But why? She knows how vile and heartless the family is - why should she be apologetic for herself - for them? It was a different matter if the family was good-hearted but old-fashioned.

I've seen typical joint families. There is nok-jhoks, power struggles etc. But never this amount of vileness. Eventually only if there is sufficient respect between the members will the family stay together - otherwise it will break apart.

Sai is not struggling amidst the typical nok-jhoks of a joint family. SHE IS BEING BULLIED - day in and day out. Imagine if a child is being bullied at school. Instead of admonishing the bullies and giving support and strength to the bullied child - the onus was on the bullied child to stop the bullying - by earning a soft spot with his/her tormentor. As sacrilegious as it sounds this is what is being portrayed by the writers. It is insincere and dishonest.

Either the Chavans should have been shown much less vile. Or they should have recieved their comeuppance - but here they are being whitewashed.

I've seen close acquaintances getting married into varying degrees of toxic families. I can tell you how it drains them of peace, happiness and even their self-esteem. When they fight back, adjustment in joint family, respect to elders and other such dogmatic concepts are used shamelessly to stifle the protest. Such is the duplicity of our society.

Sorry, Siya, couldn;t type up my reply then.

As usual, spot on analysis, that too on 2 hours of sleep, wow!

The sheer domesticity and routineness of the scenes warmed my heart. A police officer going for a dangerous assignment and his wife seeing him on his way - the routine reminders, hiding the worry behind humour, showing the care and vulnerability while accepting the risk and commitment to duty, the promise to call daily, the assurance that she will be right here, praying for his safe return... this is their life now, and they will be doing it all their life.

The zillat is there, will be there, but I believe, seeing Sai's vulnerability will ultimately lead to the elders analysing how they have been trating her, instigated by Pakhi. When she was the impenetrable, muhphat Sai Joshi, they didn't need to question how they were affecting her, but this side if her will hit them deep, make them question if they are doing right by this young girl, who is trying her best to adjust to a joint family dynamics as you so very rightly said!

Thanks for the tag, dear!

Updated, Siya, dear.

you are right about their introspection part and it had come to my mind but then kind of discarded the idea, too scared to hope🤔 I hope it happens.

Yes. Today's scenes kind of showed that they are dil se ready to accept that this is how their life is going to be from now on. The deal is long forgotten. Hopefully it doesn't make a comeback ever again

Thank you for tagging siya..... awesome analysis....I was thinking about the promo when sai handed him cap....there she kept for him to take now she handed they a long way and it was beautiful....don't y today I cried with sai the way she hide her fear in humour but didnt want cry in front of him was well portrayed by Ayesha....and in zillat arena too she was truly tried of daily chik chik poor soul blamed herself for her birth.....I understand the pain of everyone's hate when we think of them as our family.....it is really very heart wrenching.....as for precap will wait for next epi....

Btw siya did u noticed sonali's expression when sai was crying....is she getting soften towards sai....I know she was back to taunting to be in good books of kaku.....but still I think she was sad for her

Loved your analysis and it's so perfect. I have been brought up in a joint family and so I can relate to the Chavas. Though my family didn't have so many restrictions as the Chavans.

Things have changed between Virat and Sai. This is the first time she addressed herself as a Police officer's wife and she asks him to call her everyday like a typical wife. This scene was quite endearing. Loved it so much.
