Frankly they are killing it

They only use the plot points from the og

But the characterization of the leads is hot and full of banter is totally away from the og

The tracks and story movements has been rewritten

Of course it’s on episode 38

Which is when Sairat also were magic

But these CVS need some fire in their bellies

It’s a pity that ITV best writing only happens in the first 60-70 episodes

Anyways the promo looks damn cute

Let’s enjoy what we can!

PS : I understand the Tamil version of KD had lots of romance between the leads, I will always feel angry about Ghum for one thing - we didn’t get much romance from a show that has pyaar in the title. We only got a toxic family storyline.
It never felt like a Sairat story with others, it always felt like others story with Sairat!

I saw the Tamil version. I don’t who keeps saying there was loads of romance there 😅 the couple was in no way comparable to sairat banter. I feel saiRats growth and the slow burn is perfect, just that they need to get more screen space . The only difference and the good thing in Tamil version was Vikram was sterner to the Pakhi character and she was fully grey character.

I like how sairat is. If they give off all the romance in the beginning we might not I personally will lose interest later. What attracted me to sairat was not the cliched romance scenes but their banter which is still good when the GET the bloody screen space. It’s just it’s too divided now more leaning towards excessive drama 😅

I actually know both Bengali and Tamil

I don’t watch much regional TV

I love watching my ITV in Hindi

Don’t ask why! It’s weird!
so I took someone’s word online that the tam one was romantic , but then standing up for her in front of that chaiwali is romance to a large extent in this story.

I watched some of the KD episodes - complete cringe but the actress who plays chaiwali there is quite graceful and actually emotes well

IMO the actors who played Sairat are GOLD!
it’s the classic

They did loads of chemistry testing

But didn’t do writing drafts

ITV suffers from this always

I think Niel’s absence made it worse

Becos somewhere I personally lost interest, it was already waning with the family’s negativity

I think if you don’t show a man stand up for his wife up against the girl who he “loved” or family who behaves like a bunch of imbeciles you have lost the plot.
I am one of those who feels they kind of made him slightly spineless in front of the chaiwali

Lot of people felt it’s because of the offline equation between them

I don’t think so, ITV cvs may be lazy, incompetent and frankly not very talented but I don’t think they will be so unprofessional.

But if that is true, I am sorry to say, we will never get a decent romantic story of Sairat then!

@bold - that is what I mean when I say it was family crap with Sairat and not the other way round. This was never a romantic show

I fell for it thinking it was

I should have known better

I agree with the bold. But the things is sadly the plot revolves around the This flimsy love story so they are not able to get out of the stupid trap.

virat is shown as someone who reacts in the moment forgetting all the past behavior. I am able to somewhere explain away certain things so far ( definitely not the denying food and holding hands ) part.
But certainly CVS have a lot of work to do to in building his character and move away from this flimsy love story.

Now put this scenario against weak CVS who really can’t write for their lives

And the offline equation between the other two

And the fact that they have the two women on equal standing behind him on the title song

These are tells/red flags

Agar yeh show mera boyfriend hota

Break up kab ka ho jaata!
😆
