I think her weeping would have set off his "kya hua? sab theek toh hai?" but "ruko 10 min mein aa raha hoon" is not possible so her fighting back tears was actually fine to me -- it conveyed that moment when you take that breath that has been stuck - the relief that you feel when someone closest has finally connected... Even though she wanted to run out immediately before Aai came, once she saw Virat on the call, she actually took the phone and sat down to speak to him instead of hurrying out... It meant something. I know since their interaction came after a long time, it seemed too short but the reaction was perfect for the moment. Virat being oblivious, Aai being 'relieved' but watchful and Sai being distracted with the bigger question in front of her.
If you ask me, I found it funny when she first had the idea of taking him on conference call and then aborted it saying "wo sab kuch chhodh kar aa jaayenge".. in my head i went "Arey abduct huye insaan ko bachane policewala nahi aayega toh kaun aayega?" 🤣 But Sai hai na... 😆
I think it will be continued tomorrow because she has to still escape from the room.
@bold: I agree, they should have shown something at least because it was too unlike Virat to not check on her. Sai is usually not the one to call him but he does and she was shown as trying... but haan, today he asked her, "kaisi ho" but she didn't ask him how he is doing, she was too pre-occupied.
