By the time he went back to GC and married sai, pakhi and virat relationship was already over (not that they ever were in a relationship in first place) and she was officially his brother's wife. So it isn't virat being the cheat, but pakhi, because she's the one marrying a man when harboring feelings for another man and still expecting emotional commitment from another man after being married. And that is the truth. The moment pakhi married samrat, regardless of whatever promises were made by virat to convince pakhi to marry samrat, virat was free to move on without being tagged as disloyal because it isn't virat who was in a committed relationship but it was pakhi who is now committed to another man, so virat was free to marry and fall in love with someone else besides pakhi, but it is pakhi who is disloyal and a cheat for loving and wanting some sort of relationship with virat despite becoming samrat's wife.

Also pakhi would have ended up marrying samrat by her own will as it is even if she did not get to know before wedding that virat is samrat's brother and that pakhi had misunderstanding which was not virat fault, so only pakhi is responsible for marrying samrat.

Patralekha thought Virat didn't even save her number. So she was not important enough for him that he will save her number that she had given him with so much love and dreams. It wasn't that he didn't recognise her voice.

That promise was a stupid thing. But he did make a promise. I don't think he did anything wrong by marrying Sai. It wasn't cheating as in relationships. But he did break the promise and her trust. I'm not saying she wasn't wrong. What she did with his brother was horrible. They both are equally wrong. I had dedicated a whole post about that. But I take it as a cheating from Patralekha's perspective as he broke that promise. But that promise was meant to be broken. So as a viewer I don't mind.

Edited: I also don't see him as the other negative male leads.

Hey,why should people block you if you are just keeping your pov? It's your thought. So chill yaar.

And I agree, and even I am a bit dumb dumb over how come Virat is cheating here on Pakhi.

But,look,there wasn't anything to begin with in the first place,did they confess love?No. But,here is where Virat's loyalty is also proved,didi declared her love to Virat when she got married,let's forget that Samrat is Virat's brother for a moment,but only as Pakhi's husband,isnt she betraying her husband's trust,love etc.

Did the other promise of a marriage, no,(I know they will bring up that stupid vaada),but look ,Pakhi herself didn't know that he was Virat's brother, so basically she was ready to marry the very first person ,Samrat or not. So,technically speaking ,if she had married any other person and Virat never knew of this,then vaada wouldn't have happened at all. Then what,there us nothing to begin now in the first place,and lo,you are calling Virat as a cheat when this guy is trying ti be loyal, love comes with trust.

But all that happened with Sai would have definitely been the way, Pakhi didi in the story or not, and OK,so if he cheating Pakhi ,then what is Pakhi?Loyal?isnt she the same,sorry if I come out offensive,but truth is infront of the eyes. Who is loyal and who is disloyal.

No because it would technically mean he cannot love anyone except his brother's wife! The vaada was wrong. Her accepting it is wrong because she is not single either. Some sense of morals have to be there na. Virat has never crossed his line with her. But she has repeatedly tried to assert her right over him.

If it was not Samrat, maybe Virat could have fought for her before the marriage.
