Did Virat cheat on/betray Pakhi by marrying and falling in love w Sai?

I’m seeing too many posts comparing Virat to other negative male leads saying how Virat is a cheater/disloyal.

fGs Virat doesn’t owe Pakhi anything, she married his brother willingly. And moved on to marry another man just because he didn’t recognise her voice. Virat and Pakhi were never even in a relationship to begin with.

Why 2 block u ? We can agree to disagree many times but that doesn't mean If a person don't agree to u then d person is enemy 2 you.

No virat dint cheat or betray pakhi as he don't owe anything to her , it was pakhi decision to marry samrat which she was changing after seeing virat. Virat only gave her option final decision was her , her father was supporting her & asked her 2 blackout from d marriage it was her decision to carry on with marriage.

Virat is not wrong in moving forward or falling 4 his own wife , its pakhi who is wrong to insult marriage for her personal gain.

Virat knew Didi for less than 2 days and just made a lame promise to her that he's basically broken now it's not his fault that Didi is so delusional and crazy 😆

I too have seen posts like that, grouping Virat with those other two male leads (won't say names because we can't talk about other shows)...... He has his faults, but Virat has been nothing but loyal to Sai and his marriage. He doesn't deserve the two-timer tag at all.

First things first, decision of marrying Samrat falls in Pakhi's shoulders, alone.

Secondly, she anyway would have married Samrat undoubtedly without receiving any Vaada if she hadn't found out that the guy she blocked for no reason was actually not at fault.

Also, Virat's promise came with the condition that she will move on with Samrat. I don't see her moving on, in any sense of the word. At first, at least she used to say that though she doesn't share any relationship with Samrat, she is sad for his family that he is MIA. Now she has openly declared she doesn't care whether Samrat is even alive or not.

She anyway didn't marry Samrat because Virat requested her, she married him so she could stay near Virat. Then Virat's promise isn't valid anymore.

And if she had actually moved on, she anyway wouldn't be sad about the promise. In a general case, people usually do not want someone they love/used to love to be in pain.

And most importantly, I fail to realize how that promise benefits anybody.

Virat made a promise to a dying man, which takes precedence over any promise made his to ex-"lover."

Virat and Sai's marriage vows are definitely more sacred, important, and take precedence over Virat's promise made to ex-"lover."

This is why I believe that, no, Virat did not cheat on Pakhi, either by marrying Sai or by falling in love with his wife.

He was not in any relationship, so he was free to marry and now free to fall in love with Sai.

He also clarified in one of the episodes, you are my brother's wife and a friend and I have no other feelings for you (which would have been the case even when he married Sai).

So cheating ka sawaal hi paida nahi hota.

Yes, he did give her vaada that he will not let anyone come in his heart, but heart is not in his control, So in a way, his heart betrayed him 😆.

i don’t think virat cheated pakhi. first of all , that vaada was stupid given out of desperation and pakhi accepting the vaada and expecting him to not fall in love ever again is stupidest thing i have ever seen.

what did she even expect virat to do? carry on ema behind his brother’s back? a person who can let go of his so called love for his brother, how did she eveb expect him to betray the same brother?

pakhi and pakhi alone is responsible for her state today, not virat not samrat. she had the option of backing out. she would have moved on in sometime. but she spoiled her life with her own hands. no one else can be held responsible for that.

When she herself is married to someone else then why can't he move on and find his happiness ? Yes, he broke the promise of not loving anyone else but at least he didn't promise her that he will stay romantically involved with her. He was just stupid to promise something so big.

Yes, if at all Virat has to follow any 'rules' abiding to the 'vaadas', these are the new rules according to the precedence

1. Marriage vows. No contention here. In any society they cannot be broken. Whatever his past promises were, do not withstand in front of this one. Married man has more responsibility towards his wife than ex-flame, with love or no love. period.

2. Family rules. He could have given promise to ex-flame, but once she is his vahini, the upholding of this promise can be considered as showing his past feelings to Vahini. So I think, he only adheres to his promise of being by her side as a friend, the other one does not hold up morally.

3. Now, the actual contention. If Pakhi thinks the his vaada pushed her into this marriage, then it is totally her fault. There is no moral sanctity for the decision she took. She cant marry someone to stay close to her lover. The only worry for Virat is exactly this realization that his vaada might have pushed her into marriage and now samrat is MIA. What if she ends up taking her life?! It is natural to have that feeling especially if you are a good person like Virat. But, he has to remember one thing, that he never intended to marry her after his knowledge that Samrat also loves her. He has full right to take this decision based on his relationship dynamics with his brother and who is important in his life. So Pakhi had 2 choices irrespective of his vaada, to go ahead with marriage or to call it off. If her intentions were good in choosing the first one, she would have accepted the fate and Virat would have been a good friend to her. Now if she think she can marry Samrat and be close to Virat and see him suffer alone, then what kind of devious mind is that?! Virat will break his friendship vaada also if he gets to know her intentions. Pakhi has her own inner demons to fight. Virat is not responsible for her behavior and hence her future.

Going by Virat's maturity and nature, I think he already respects 1 and 2 and in the process realizing 3 😃
