I liked the plot of the story through the promo.

"Ek Police officer ko vachan se badkar kuch nahi hota. Pyar mein maine bhi kisiko vachan diya tha 'yeh vaada hai, tumhare siva main kisi aur ko apne dil mein jagah nahi doonga'. Woh toh meri na ho saki lekin apne farz ke khaathir, mujhe ek aur vachan nibhana pada 'wasa karo meri beti ki zimmedari nibhaoge'

The promo was appealing to me.

I wanted to see how a guy who loved someone so much that he never wanted to give that place to anyone else in his life falls for a person whom he married only as a responsibility.

The above statement was something I gathered from the promo, not from the show.

The promo also looked quite interesting because it looked like the girl whom he married, because of a promise he gave to a dying man, seem to have no interest in him.

It was as if even she was not interested to marry him just as much as him not interested to marry her.

They also show how his past who also seem to have got married will be around him looking a him expectantly, in other words still having hopes from the man but he seem to show interest in his wife and not his past.

What is not there to like then? I wanted to try and watch. To be honest, I watched very few scenes of the first few episodes and mainly watched from where the man meets the girl whom they show that he was married to.

I wanted to see their journey, two people who had no interest in the marriage, how do they develop feelings for each other. If they have hatred for each other, if there is a pull, if they are able to maintain the emotional distance given the fact that the male lead had promised to some other girl that he will never love anyone else.

I wanted to see how this man falls in love again because it will all be natural and what made him fall in love again when he had closed all the doors to his heart.

Ofcourse, there should be something in the girl and between them as a couple because of which he couldn't stop himself from falling in love again.

I could see the attitude in the girl who was his wife in the promo and that also looked very attractive.

All the above made me curious to watch the show.

The show is actually promising and also satisfied my curiosity and exceeded my expectations.

I started to enjoy the lead characters Sai and Virat, both have contrasting nature.

One (Virat) is extremely patient, magnanimous, emotional, steps taken are calculated and

Other (Sai) is impulsive, impatient, bold, courages, could say has a haughty attitude yet is good at heart.

Both have good moral values and stand by justice.

Their chemistry is amazing, very attractive and looks very natural.

Their journey has had a lot of turns and twists from the beginning and has been beautiful ever since they got married.

Even before they got married, there was something that drew both of them to each other without their own knowledge and yet they remained distant.

The marriage didn't happen with just a promise to a dying man, it was made interesting by showing that it wasn't a real marriage but instead only a way that he can take the girl's responsibility.

The guy though tells that even after marrying, will never become her husband, gets affected everytime when the girl retorts saying that she can also never become his wife.

There is an unsaid restlessness in the man whenever the girl acts indifferent towards him and their marriage. The girl, though acts indifferent wish that the marriage be real and is actually affected because it isn't a real marriage.

The girl's strength, her determination, her ability to maintain her self respect by staying within the line that was decided by the both of them also is very appealing.

The change in the man's attitude towards their marriage, the transition of his feelings

(from considering his wife to be a responsibility to starting to like her, getting attracted to her, not able to stay away from her, to be able to spend more time with her, craving for her attention, demanding her attention, wanting her to like him, accept him as her husband and expecting her to love him)

was beautifully potrayed and it has made the show very attractive.

The girl is bold and fierce and acts and speaks without filters. These character traits are not only good to watch her with family members but it also makes it funny, interesting and romantic too when we see her with the man and them as a couple.

An yearning in the husband and restraint in the wife and the resultant friction makes the couple very attractive.

Not only the light hearted or emotional or romantic moments between the couple is attractive, the tiffs and the fights that show their yearning for each other which both have supressed within them are also equally attractive.

Both have an unsaid understanding even though there are a lot of conflicts between them and support and care for each other. At the moment, the support extended by the man is more since she is dependent on him. But the man is awed and gets influenced by his wife's nature of standing up for right, whoever she has to stand against of, her nature to fight when something goes wrong unlike his nature of avoiding confrontation. He is able to enjoy her carefree and bubbly nature and also getting influenced to speak up when needed. Her innocence, simplicity draws him towards her.

The girl is attracted to his kind nature, his generosity, the way he handles things, his patience, the support that he extends to her, the love that he has for his family members and also that he was a savior of her life from a goon who was trying to force fully marry her.

The actors are beautifully playing their roles and they express and emote very well too.

We can see their joy, their angst, hurt, yearning, anger, frustration, defeat, innocence, haughtiness, naughtiness, flirting, arrogance, indifference, affection, and care. All of these have been potrayed well.

I think I have said enough, to know more, you will have to watch ❤❤

Happy watching 😍

I have decided to watch the show, skipping unnecessarily drama. All thanks to the beautiful comments like yours that gave me a deeper understanding of what looked to be just another love triangle.

I love fierce FLs. Big soft corner in my dil for the ladies who take no shit. Ab toh dekhna padega their journey ❤️

Oh my dear friend, I have to say you are really patient.

Okay ,so regarding the promo.

I had a very different idea over hear.

Virat shone for me in the first promo, cuz it felt as if it is his story. His life, stuck, lost ,divided a d many other things.

And I maybe had a wrong idea too, I had mistook Patralekha to be the lead by the promo, so oops.😛

But yes, question arose in my brain too, that this guy sacrificed his love for his duty. But were the circumstances that dire. And that too how when the woman to whom he is married, clearly puts you down the place which you expect or lets say which you are to her. As she didn't hand over the cap,but instead put it down. But I had loved how she had carried herself over there. And ,actually,(not my intention to create a new riot over here),but I had expected a lot from Pakhi over here. So,oops again. But,yes ,Sai did intrigue me as well, she had a fabulous haught, when she was ready to remove that mangalsutra infront of god,as it is the most inauspicious thing for a wife, a d she was ready. Cuz,it was not letting her reach her goal.

And the second promo, did it clear to you? The Rekha ji one, it clearly showed, Pakhi is moving towards Virat, Virat is moving towards Sai,but Sai is not allowing him to,as there is a curtain. They made it clear over there, hum hi hai🤦‍♀️

But, initially I missed it out ,agreed. And I feel bad too. But yeah ,of the GC days, love story was a crap,I got to know. So,a part is okay.

And ,yes ,as I have already said,Sairat are the most normal couple of ITV. And I am ready to scream it to everyone. Look,we might act despo almost all the times, but this is very close to reality. Cuz,this is how normal weird couple are supposed to be. (But I know I myself will forget this after posting). Fight, shate, vent out, struggle, support, yup ,this is the right track.

And both are equal, I guess we both (me and laksh)had discussed that day, that Virat is caged, and Sai has experienced very much freedom.

Very much freedom, due to which Sai doesn't like being in a cage, and gets violent. But ,she is slowly understanding the value of freedom.

And,Virat over here, has saw the free bird, and has now begun to slowly flutter(he is struggling with his emotions)in that cage, but,ah ah he is still somewhere towards the master, but he is slowly realising the value of freedom as well.

See,both are totally opposite, this happened unexpectedly while typing, but both are going towards a common destination, freedom,no more,no less. And this is their journey, discovering while being on the same track and becoming partners when they will realise that their journey is together.

❤❤❤

Title song.my favourite. That aroused curiosity in me.

Promos ..thoughtful and informative about the story line...By this time I got attracted to Sai’s uninhibited outburst..saying she doesn’t want this marriage and Usha Maushi preventing her from taking away her mangalsutra....this girl with her beautiful face and real acting arrested me and I just waited for the show to begin.

Got bored watching yoga love story..still waited further because of Sai with whom I connected instantly.

Gadchiroli track really engaging..liked Virat and his police avatar.

After the marriage the story picked up momentum and got me hooked..

One special mention to all the supporting cast who really fit the roles and perform so well

Technically good with decent camera work..

Main factors that keeps the show a first of its kind

Sai..never came across such FL she is refreshingly different from itv leads

Sairat...They have sizzling chemistry not seen in recent times..Even if they stand together we feel the fire.

Virat..Quite different from ITV heroes. Charming yet irritating most of the times due to his silence. Still captivated me without doubt..

Story .. I didn’t watch kusumdola so I feel the novelty in storyline including family drama. It is engaging.

What more to say? Never found any other show at present worth watching after getting addicted to this show.

I was not interested in the show when I watched the promo. It looked like another Love-Hate marriage concept done to death. i wanted something else in the show than love-hate.

I watched an episode by chance. And i got hooked. The first thing that attracted me to the show was Sai. You can find many Ichchhas, Gopi Bahus and Khushis (Apologies in advance to their fans, I know they have their own qualities) but what pulled me to the show was Sai's no nonsense attitude. I have seen heroines giving mahaan pravachan and thinking they are strong. i have seen heroines who ruin other people's happiness and insult innocent people misinterpreting wrongdoing as strength. I have seen heroines standing up when it comes to others, family etc. but lowering their head and crying buckets when the question is raised against them. for the first time, I came across a heroine who did not belong to any of the categories above.

Usually I hate family drama where the in-laws taunt and demean the heroine and she lowers her head and cries. But the same heroine gives Mahan dialogues with Durga ma ke mantra aur Mandir ke ghante and kills (oops, slays) the evil. But i like the family drama here because the taunts were not met with silent tears and a bowed head. Sai can not only protect others she can stand up for herself too. If i sum up everything that i have written till now is this:

1.Sai has self respect and she can stand up for herself and that makes the family drama bearable too.

I started watching the show because of Sai. But gradually something else captured my heart too- Sairat. They slowly seeped inside my veins and now beat along with my heart. they were like slow poison for me and it's difficult to come out of this trance now. They are like a dream. Their scenes together give me sukoon. Their chemistry is not due to excessive physical intimacy, dori tying type scenes. In short their chemistry is not physical. they might reach there later but till now they are limited to hand holding and feeding each other😆. i love what they share come from the core of their beings. both Virat and Sai are flawed and appear drastically different from each other on surface but their internal makeup is same. They are like two different dresses cut from same clothsmiley36. Beneath their banter, fights, misunderstandings and zidd, there is deep respect for and trust in the other one. So the other thing that attracts me to the show:

2. Sairat, their individual characters and their deep bond despite everything on the surface.

I actually cannot see an excessively romanticized serial which has nothing else to offer except romance. so

3. the focus is not completely on the romance factor. there are other stories that help build their characters and relationship as well. Many good characters in the show too.

I am always enamored with an actor's acting capabilities.

4.Ayesha is good. Others too. But I really adore Neil Bhatt's acting. The man is damn expressive. But of late he has become my crush too😆.

Thanks for tagging me Laksh

Tbh Sairat attracted me to this serial.

I'm a fan of Neil Bhatt's acting in DABH and since he was again playing an IPS officer, attracted me at the first instance. But since I knew it's a remake of Kusum Dola, I didn't pay any heed to this serial. But one day while binge watching Star Plus, I came across Sairat marriage episodes which made me curious to watch further. I used to watch episodes and repeat telecast but wasn't in serious fangirling.

Then I watched the episode of their Nag river visit and was totally into awe with the lead chemistry pair. It was so so beautiful. And I tried to be more regular and tried to know more about the serial, though I know the backdrop a bit.. Then the alta sequence where Virat applied medicine to Sai's feet and fed with her with the "Kaisa Yeh Rishta.." bg, made me attracted to the serial. Then, the Valentine's Day sequence made me complete fan of the show. I started watching the Bengali version, watching old episodes and all.

Thanks for the tag 🤗

There are a lot many reasons to like the show... Because in this show they actually concentrate on each and every character like they show ups and downs of every character......

SAIRAT is really a reigning jodi of my time cause they seem to never accept each other but actually they have already accepted each other since very long ago.......

They show that Sai is strongest and of course she is but I think and I've noticed that she is vulnerable too....she is vulnerable and strong at the same time and of course she is my fav in the show....... And Virat's confusing nature puts chaar chaand on the show.......He shows that he is confused but actually he is clear that Sai is always correct but just some times he tells her wrong in front of his family just to satisfy his family.......

Oops I just wanted to write some lines but it seems like I've written a long essay.....

But I think this is enough for you watch the show and plz do watch it and do write an os too
