I watched an episode by chance. And i got hooked. The first thing that attracted me to the show was Sai. You can find many Ichchhas, Gopi Bahus and Khushis (Apologies in advance to their fans, I know they have their own qualities) but what pulled me to the show was Sai's no nonsense attitude. I have seen heroines giving mahaan pravachan and thinking they are strong. i have seen heroines who ruin other people's happiness and insult innocent people misinterpreting wrongdoing as strength. I have seen heroines standing up when it comes to others, family etc. but lowering their head and crying buckets when the question is raised against them. for the first time, I came across a heroine who did not belong to any of the categories above.

Usually I hate family drama where the in-laws taunt and demean the heroine and she lowers her head and cries. But the same heroine gives Mahan dialogues with Durga ma ke mantra aur Mandir ke ghante and kills (oops, slays) the evil. But i like the family drama here because the taunts were not met with silent tears and a bowed head. Sai can not only protect others she can stand up for herself too. If i sum up everything that i have written till now is this:

1.Sai has self respect and she can stand up for herself and that makes the family drama bearable too.

I started watching the show because of Sai. But gradually something else captured my heart too- Sairat. They slowly seeped inside my veins and now beat along with my heart. they were like slow poison for me and it's difficult to come out of this trance now. They are like a dream. Their scenes together give me sukoon. Their chemistry is not due to excessive physical intimacy, dori tying type scenes. In short their chemistry is not physical. they might reach there later but till now they are limited to hand holding and feeding each other😆. i love what they share come from the core of their beings. both Virat and Sai are flawed and appear drastically different from each other on surface but their internal makeup is same. They are like two different dresses cut from same cloth. Beneath their banter, fights, misunderstandings and zidd, there is deep respect for and trust in the other one. So the other thing that attracts me to the show:

2. Sairat, their individual characters and their deep bond despite everything on the surface.

I actually cannot see an excessively romanticized serial which has nothing else to offer except romance. so

3. the focus is not completely on the romance factor. there are other stories that help build their characters and relationship as well. Many good characters in the show too.

I am always enamored with an actor's acting capabilities.

4.Ayesha is good. Others too. But I really adore Neil Bhatt's acting. The man is damn expressive. But of late he has become my crush too😆.

I love how passionate people on the forum are for SaiRat and the characters individually ❤️ You all have sold me on this show. Aaj raat se dekhungi and will pen something on them soon.

SAIRAT is really a reigning jodi of my time cause they seem to never accept each other but actually they have already accepted each other since very long ago.......

They show that Sai is strongest and of course she is but I think and I've noticed that she is vulnerable too....she is vulnerable and strong at the same time and of course she is my fav in the show....... And Virat's confusing nature puts chaar chaand on the show.......He shows that he is confused but actually he is clear that Sai is always correct but just some times he tells her wrong in front of his family just to satisfy his family.......

Oops I just wanted to write some lines but it seems like I've written a long essay.....

But I think this is enough for you watch the show and plz do watch it and do write an os too

I'm a fan of Neil Bhatt's acting in DABH and since he was again playing an IPS officer, attracted me at the first instance. But since I knew it's a remake of Kusum Dola, I didn't pay any heed to this serial. But one day while binge watching Star Plus, I came across Sairat marriage episodes which made me curious to watch further. I used to watch episodes and repeat telecast but wasn't in serious fangirling.

Then I watched the episode of their Nag river visit and was totally into awe with the lead chemistry pair. It was so so beautiful. And I tried to be more regular and tried to know more about the serial, though I know the backdrop a bit.. Then the alta sequence where Virat applied medicine to Sai's feet and fed with her with the "Kaisa Yeh Rishta.." bg, made me attracted to the serial. Then, the Valentine's Day sequence made me complete fan of the show. I started watching the Bengali version, watching old episodes and all.

Wow. I would really like watching a normal couple for a change. The whole concept and characterisation sounds intriguing to me. I like how one can visualise themselves as Sai or Virat, someone flawed and a human being instead of a mahaan insaan.

But,yes ,Sai did intrigue me as well, she had a fabulous haught, when she was ready to remove that mangalsutra infront of god,as it is the most inauspicious thing for a wife, a d she was ready. Cuz,it was not letting her reach her goal.

And the second promo, did it clear to you? The Rekha ji one, it clearly showed, Pakhi is moving towards Virat, Virat is moving towards Sai,but Sai is not allowing him to,as there is a curtain. They made it clear over there, hum hi hai🤦‍♀️

But, initially I missed it out ,agreed. And I feel bad too. But yeah ,of the GC days,love story was a crap,I got to know. So,a part is okay.

And ,yes ,as I have already said,Sairat are the most normal couple of ITV. And I am ready to scream it to everyone. Look,we might act despo almost all the times,but this is very close to reality. Cuz,this is how normal weird couple are supposed to be. (But I know I myself will forget this after posting). Fight,shate,vent out,struggle,support,yup ,this is the right track.

And both are equal, I guess we both (me and laksh)had discussed that day, that Virat is caged,and Sai has experienced very much freedom.

Very much freedom,due to which Sai doesn't like being in a cage,and gets violent. But ,she is slowly understanding the value of freedom.

And,Virat over here,has saw the free bird,and has now begun to slowly flutter(he is struggling with his emotions)in that cage,but,ah ah he is still somewhere towards the master,but he is slowly realising the value of freedom as well.

See,both are totally opposite,this happened unexpectedly while typing,but both are going towards a common destination, freedom,no more,no less. And this is their journey,discovering while being on the same track and becoming partners when they will realise that their journey is together.

I don't remember this. I think I saw the first promo on TV or I don't know but I saw the other promos a little later than they actually released it I think...i m not able to recollect

Let me be honest, the first promo didn't interest me as I found both the ladies to look the same and I thought it will be the same old love triangle. I had forgotten about this show for months until I saw a clip where Sai and Virat are standing outside CN and the drama. I loved aai character and the scenes and decided to watch the next few episodes. But I wanted to get some background info and came to forum to read about it. I got to know that its a remake of a Bengali show and then there is a Tamil version too.

Since I didn't want to wait for the upcoming track, I checked out few episodes in Tamil and man Saranya was awesome, blasting away her in laws for their stupidity. Her dialogues were sassy and though it was loud initially, I knew if Hindi can show half of it, I don't mind watching.

Tamil version also had lot of flirting, banter and funny scenes between leads, that are not as much in Hindi version, but koi nahi, maybe in future episodes. But I know GHK can do better in romance department.

Then I saw Sai was also mufat and spoke whats in her mind and not like other FLs crying and not fighting for themselves. Also for a change MIL who supports her bahu.

I went back few episodes slowly and just fell in love with Sai and Virat characters. I did have high hopes of Pakhi character and her impact on the lovestory. I thought she will be friends with Sai and be nice with her, but still Virat will start falling in love with Sai. But the show by making Pakhi jealous lost that opportunity and gave an easy way out for Virat.

It makes total sense that their relationship is progressing in such a pace given its a deal/ compromise between them. Now Virat is expecting more but doesn't realise why and Sai doesn't want to expect assuming his love for Pakhi. Though I think the story can move forward even without Pakhi being in the house, I guess she is there for additional drama and unnecessary plotting.

Past few weeks I was tired of the OTT drama and kind of stopped watching the episodes. Its just the forum which is addictive and made me stick to the show.

I started watching Sai centric episodes from last week, which surprising is very interesting and makes me curious on what will she do next and how will she win (despite her impulsive, naive, trusting nature). I watch the show mainly for Sai and then Sairat in that order. Though it was promoted as Virat's story, for me the story is about Sai's journey and how she achieves her dream despite all the obstacles thrown in her way, how from being all alone, she will make a beautiful future for herself with a big family eventually.

👏 This is lovely. Thanks for describing the whole journey to discovering Sai and SaiRat. It honestly sounds wonderful. We rarely have a FL that fierce with a good heart, and Sai looks to be quite like that.

As per what you and everyone else also said - the whole story, except for the OTT moments, is very real. Plus Sai and Virat appear to be fantastic characters.

How do I even start with this.. There is plethora of things to write that it seems quite impossible to me to express them in words.. And hence I tagged the few people

who would be better than me any day to convince you to watch..Anyway I will give it a try..

I came across the first promo and kind of believed that this is again going to be a forced marriage kind of a setup where the guy would be in love with his first love for a long duration of time.. So I did not want to go with that yet again.. Then one day I came across a clip on insta..where Virat is hugging Sai.. the dialogues were on mute.. However I could just not ..not appreciate the chemistry in that hug..That led me to the show.. I could never connect to the love story between Virat and Pakhi..However there was an undeniable.. inexplicable chemistry between Sai and Virat ..There was a pull between the two.. not sexual but emotional..For the first time I saw it on television the heroine not falling down at given opportunity.. with Hero saving her and ofcourse there was no push and pull kind of thing.. They were bodily away from each other and yet their eyes spoke volume.. When it came to Sai Virat would forget everything and be there for her.. Sai a fierce and meritorious girl ..who would not bend down infront of anyone..was something that not just attracted Virat but me as well... Virat unknown to him was getting attached to Sai and Sai unknowingly was turning possessive for Virat..and the best part is they have still not come to the realisation about this aspect of themselves..He has always been attuned to Sai..and yet he does not know it.. RIght now he doesn't know why even a thought of her not being with him disturbs him to this extent.So wonderfully expressed by Neil...

Pakhi was always put aside when Sai was in picture.. There are few extremely beautiful sequences where you realise that Virat has been longing for Sai's attention, appreciation for a very long time.. WHen Virat saves Sai from Jagtap..(they were still not in great terms with each other) Sai runs and hugs her father and Virat keeps looking at her expecting a glance if not a hug.. Then there is one more scene where after marriage when they are going back to Virat's hometown , and Virat and Pakhi are crying.. and there is a sudden break taken by Sunny and Virat immediately puts his hand to protect Sai from getting hurt.. He did not protect himself did not worry about the one he claims to love, but his first instict was to save Sai.. His protectivness..the tender care that he shows for Sai is what pulls me towards the show..It has been always Sai for him.. Virat in his head thinks he loves Pakhi, while every thing in his semiconscious self is about Sai..

Sai is a rockstar..She is also our dewdrop..The way Sai answers back to anyone with spunk is also a treat to watch.. SHe has the never give up attitude.. SHe can fight and answer back 10 people hurling abuses at her and shut them all at once..Never have I seen a bahut like that...Sai has been attracted and fascinated for Virat in her own way.. She wanted his attention, did not like him talking to Pakhi ecven when they were not in great terms and she did not know about the relationship they share.. For he his viewpoint matters..SHe protects herself from falling in love with Virat and yet is unable to do so.. She could not help but compare him with her father who was her only family..

Virat and Sai have also handled their relationship which is supposedly a deal quite maturely. The emotional chemistry is so high that we have not had a single proper hug between the two and yet a scene between them lights up the whole forum..

The best part about the show is the slow progress in their relationship as partners as husband wife.. The belief they have in each other's goodness..and also the influence they have on each other..With Virat by her side , Sai is slowly learning to be a bit mindful about her words and Virat has learnt to point out the wrong done by elders.. They bring out the better version of each other..And they both are extremely possessive about each other and yet cannot even openly accept to each other that they are husband wife..This also is a treat to watch because of the way they are portrayed by the actors.. The hurt..the anger..the longing.. the desperation everything is portrayed beautifully..

You should also watch the show for the relationship that is shared between Sai and her AAba, Virat and Sai's Aaba and Sai and her equation with Virat's Aayi..

I know I haven't done great justice to the relationship the two share and the reason of me watching the show..But i can just write this much..

What are you saying? - You have done FULL JUSTICE to your feelings for them and reasons for loving them. How wonderfully you wrote about the bus scene when Virat protects Sai over everyone else.

I am really very intrigued about how a couple who is not into the push-pull can develop such a crazy amount of chemistry ❤️ Also, what you wrote about Sai answering 10 different people at once was just mind blowing. I can’t tell you how much that appeals to my feminist heart. I can’t stand it when the FL doesn’t answer back and takes it like a good little bahu.

That's a car scene .. where Virat and Sai are sitting at the back and Pakhi near the driver seat..while Sunny Virat's friend is driving...

There are so many beautiful moments between the two..very tender and extremely emotional moments.. When Sai's father dies.. and Virat tries to console her and Sai removes his hand in anger .. the way he looks at that hand.. he is not able to take her rejection.. that again is so beautifully picturised..
