I'm actually not going to comment too much on what I feel about virat's doings towards sai in this episode. It's already been discussed so much and we all are mutually disappointed with how inhumane of a response virat has used in this track to deal with sai. I find virat's concern and protectiveness completely reasonable in this track, but not a single way he has tried to show this protectiveness and concern was at all justifiable. His intentions were full of concern for sai, but his actions screamed toxic masculinity unfortunately.

So proud of Mohit today. I'm surprised the bhandar khaandan were unable to say anything when mohit stood up for sai. I guess they were shocked and not expecting of Mohit getting involved. I was kind of disappointed with Virat's response to everything Mohit was saying. Poore waqt rotlu shaqal ke saath karra raha whilst staring at sai in disappointment even whilst Mohit was talking.

And thank bloody heaven that Usha Mausi for once did not defend these Chavans or say anything to Sai to try and de-escalate the situation. This time, like an actual mother figure all she could note was the humiliation that sai was suffering at the hands of the person they least expected this from.

But I wanted to point out how it felt like a cooling ice pack on a burn to see Pakhi's sour-grapes expression when she saw virat shedding tears when sai walked away from him and the fight was over, because even Pakhi could tell that instead of his face being red in anger, his eyes being red with tears was due to him feeling hurt for having fought with sai and the things he ended up saying to her. That's why Pakhi wasn't smug like the rest of the chavan bhandars were over this fight. Because she knew Virat, more than being angry at Sai the way she would have wished, he was actually hurt.

Coming to the most important part of the episode, in this track where Virat is really being made to act like a complete ass with Sai, the only positive thing that I have liked about Virat in this track is how he has been behaving and talking to Pakhi post Sai's accusation on virat-pakhi friendship in front of everyone and post pakhi's outburst at him when he cleared to her he has no feelings for her the way sai thinks. Both in yesterday and today's episode, Virat was less entertaining of Pakhi's attempts at trying to show concern for him or trying to talk to him.

At first I felt it is a consequence of Sai's accusation that he is behaving this way with Pakhi all of a sudden, as this is a first for him in terms of him pushing pakhi away from him post his marriage to sai, but it came more so after Pakhi's outburst when virat burst her bubble, so somewhere there must be some sort of acknowledgement in his mind that Pakhi isn't exactly the well-wisher of his and sai's that she will act as some voice of reason between him and sai to resolve their issue, so maybe now he truly is fed up with Pakhi and her interference between him and Sai, or am I speaking too soon?

Or is it simply that he's just too absorbed in his hurt and frustration over his fight with Sai that Pakhi's over-concern for him is feeling suffocating to him in this situation? I guess it's most likely this latter reason, because there is nothing to suggest Sai's accusations or even the reasoning behind those accusations have in any ways registered with him.

LOL I love how Pakhi really had nothing to say when Ashwini scolded her for eyeing up another woman's husband. She was acting all innocent when Sai threw that accusation at her in front of everyone, yet here she was speechless and could do nothing but walk away with her same old sour-grapes expression as she knew that Ashwini was calling her out aptly on her impure intentions.

And I know some felt that Ashwini's talk with virat should have included her trying to make virat see pakhi's real intentions towards him etc, yet I feel that is a separate topic that isn't directly related to Ashwini's need to make Virat realise that he crossed a limit with sai in trying to get her to do as he wanted and that he was at fault with the way he handles it. That was a bigger priority in the current situation. in fact, her bringing up Sai's mature behaviour in Ladakh trip fiasco in regards to sai trusting Virat to go alone to Ladakh with Pakhi and not having issue with that was the right choice of point to make in regards to pakhi by Ashwini, because Ashwini seconding Sai's accusations on virat-pakhi friendship and pakhi intentions in this scene with virat would have only made Virat more worked up rather than serving the aim to make him realise his mistake he made today, so it was better that Ashwini did not address the issue of Pakhi's intentions towards virat in the current situation.

I do though wish that soon she does have a word with Virat about it and tell him she strongly feels Sai is not wrong questioning Pakhi's so-called friendship with Virat and her intentions towards Virat by bringing up the many instances where Pakhi used her friendship as a means to interfere in Virat's life too much, such as her calling him up too much to talk to him when he was in GC, her constantly interfering in Virat-sai's matters, her constantly trying to find ways to insult sai and trying to instigate him against sai, then her creating a big uproar over him wanting to take sai with them on the Ladakh trip that made it seem as if Pakhi just desperately wanted to be alone with Virat on this trip. But as they are copying Kusum Dola so much, I doubt they will have such a scene where Ashwini has this conversation with him. So virat himself will just learn Pakhi's true intentions down the road.

For Sai, her disappointment with Virat is to do with the fact that she feels that he could scream at her and raise his voice if he is angry at her, but she never thought he could hurt or humiliate her. He behaved with her the way she would expect his twisted family elders to treat her, but instead it was virat who behaved with her today like his family does; trying to gain control over her via humiliation. This time, he did not behave like her Virat sir. He behaved like Virat Chavan, a Chavan family member and son of Ninad Chavan.

Here's to hoping Sai gets a proper apology from him. And that didi ki jhalli gi seeing her prediction come true 😆

True; rightly pointed out by Aai, you behaved like your Dad.

Me too, never felt bad for her. Was so consumed in rage, that he never felt sorry for her state.

Very true, you have just listed every single detail I had noticed and felt 😆

But I wanted to point out how it felt like a cooling ice pack on a burn to see Pakhi's sour-grapes expression when she saw virat shedding tears when sai walked away from him and the fight was over, because even Pakhi could tell that instead of his face being red in anger, his eyes being red with tears was due to him feeling hurt for having fought with sai and the things he ended up saying to her. Exactly, she understands that it cannot be considered as their victory. No one expected this kind of a climax, Mohit changed the whole scene and tried to show mirror to his brother also telling him how he would never idolise him in the future.

If Mohit never came into picture and this turned more ugly leading to Sai leaving the house, she would have been happy. She knows that it was all put to a stop abruptly.

Yes, he felt suffocated with her showing care and concern when he was frustrated and angry with Sai.

I too felt this, it was more important to addeess the current issue. Without making him realise what he has done, she couldn't have cooled him down. The other sensitive issue can wait and this was not the right time.

Rightly said and that is why while returning the money too, she said Mr Virat Chavan.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually liked this episode surprisingly for some reason, but can't exactly pin point why. Admittedly I have not watched friday's episode because of how horrid it sounds from everything I heard as it was a full-on sai insult festival. So I saved myself all the heartache and just watched saturday's epi instead.

The episode was good. I too couldn’t get myself to watch the Friday episode, watched a few scenes on IG.

Virat is a IPS officer ..... most of all he is human before he is a man . To me showing concern is not concurrent with discipline.

if you want to caution someone or show concern you tell them what your concern is about then caution them about why and how . You do not just order them first and then insult indulge in name calling do all that nonsense and call it showing concern .

You misbehave and do not expect the other person to cave in to your demands ..... like Virat is potrayed to be an IPS officer no less so i will award him some common sense if not normal sense he should know what is happening or what his family is doing to Sai .... also assuming him to be older nearing 30( rounding off here ) he should know right from wrong along with classic definition of abuse .

He should atleast respect the profession he is in before dishing out his families brand of take away food and the person will fall in line ..... if that was the case his entire family and him should starve to death 😬🤬🤯 in other words should never get a chance to eat or get near food ever

If he was anything other than an IPS officer i would chalk this nonsense as a typical mcp attitude .... him being an IPS officer heading whatever Naari is like adding insult to an injury

To me the worst was him thinking he is still right after all the fiasco .... who does he think he is to teach anyone anything but this should not surprise anyone bcos he equated his wife to goons .....but whatever this show and the writer sahiba are i will refrain from adding colors to words 😷😶😑😏🥴

Completely agree! The way he behaved to stop sai from going and the way he behaved when she returned makes it look like all he wants to do is control her and clip her wings like his family does. If he had actually clearly told sai that she should not go because her professor might have invited her to his home alone so that he can take advantage of her as that often happens, then if sai still decided to go (which of course she would as she knows pulkit is a good man and she's a lady on a mission) and he did not behave the way he did to stop her and punish her the way he did when she returned, then he would not have been at fault at all. If he had clearly told his reason for why he is stopping her than it would look like concern, but it just ended up looking like him wanting to control her.

Worst part was where he failed to self reflect and come to the conclusion that he is wrong.

Infact he concluded that he is right and he wasn't sure if he could ever forgive Sai, for what? Visiting her professor's house against his wishes?

Until Aai pointed out, he didn't even try to understand Sai or the things he did to her out of anger or concern.

If this is how he will show concern, then its better he doesn't show only.

How can he be an IPS officer, where he can't introspect. Even for a min, he couldn't see this from another person's pov. How is he able to solve cases?

He is a pampered kid, who did as he wished without giving a thought for how other person feels. It seems like despite having a sister, mom and kaku, Virat never understood or made efforts to understand girls. He probably never had any friends who are girls due to his family's thinking. Probably never even invited his friends other than Sunny to his home. How did he become friends with Sunny, why not others from his school, college or IPS batch?

Pakhi was the first girl who might have interacted with him and then Sai.

He thinks he knows and understands Pakhi and treats her exactly like his kaku and he probably thinks he can get away with handling Sai like aai. He probably has never met a girl like Sai and doesn't know how to deal with her as she is unpredictable unlike kaku, aai or Pakhi.

He could predict Pakhi's anger at trip cancelation episode, but didn't expect her to make a tamasha. He also doesn't care about what Pakhi is going through and unknowingly encourages her. He was like i dont know about your truth, but I dont have feelings for you. Shouldn't he be curious to know? Or does he know and doesn't want her to say it out loud.

Despite his mom advice of treating Sai with love instead of anger to get things done from her, he didn't listen. Will he remember this incident for next time he is furious and can't think?

Yes and when he said you will not eat bcos you misbehaved i was like FTW is he smoking like he was not there when all this happened he was talking like him gripping her hand etc was just an imaginary incident and he is all absolved bcos he dubbed all this as concern in his head ....

Forget all this he did not even say what his dad did .... issue betwen wife n husband you all need not interfere/ have a say . Him regaining alittle CS after his mom talks and not by himself and then feeling bad and asking about her hand is 🤯🤯🤯🤯

what ever happened in the last few episodes his pingpong ball on syeroids character is butchered done and dusted what ever happens from here on is like murk with the mask on (for me atleast)

Exactly in this house day starts on a problem ends on a problem and everything inbetween is spent on finding problems with anyone they can especially if they are the clans hit list . Does not help that the supposed men of the house indulge in such behuda nonsense under the female guidance no wonder his ideas are so dated

I agree he should bottle up this concern and store it and use it sparingly 😬🤯

My issue here is he cared enough about Paki to be concerned and cautious enough to think that she will be hurt if he will just arrive with a wife in tow so he asked his friend to bring her along so she could see digest and get time enough to process abd understand what he is doing and why ..... cared enough to make it clear talk to her soon after the wedding and tell Sai before hand . So him not understanding or even attempting to indulge sai stems from the deeper ingrained MCP nonsense he has seen and learnt from the other males may be . No idea but him chalking all under sai is immature she needs a firmer hand is so much delusional nonsense that stems from self grandeur fed by his family i think

He thinks he does but he does not is my take how can he not even see what she is doing ? How she feels if he felt she feels something for him he would for sure feel she still feels something for him .... albeit we can say he is so full of / into himself that he assumes he moved on so she moved on as well is laugh worthy but will still give him benefit of doubt but still any normal human cannot be this dense .

But i agree Sai is unpredictable and no one knows how she would react but if he knows paki so well from 2 days should he not know Sai atleast a teeny weeny bit from so many days of living together ?

Exactly knowing or unknowing he does indulge PP a lot .... lets her get away with so much stuff that head reels 🥴😷

He will have amnesia for sure ....the people in chavan nivas if they take anything seriously its “ Everyday is a new day and their exptic chai “ rest is all banked under selective amnesia under the cloak of selfishness dubbed selfless 😏💆🏼‍♀️
