Sometimes I feel just like how Virat is a toy for Pakhi, Sai is a toy for Virat. He expects her to behave certain way and gets riled up when she doesn't.

He understood Pakhi enough to know she will create a scene about his wedding, he just wanted to avoid people knowing about him and Pakhi like her outburst/ tamasha on trip.

But on a separate note, since this version has taken an approach that he probably never loved Pakhi, I hope they show Virat explaining his POV on why he married Sai and why he called Pakhi for wedding, reason for vaada etc.

Also in KD montage, Rupkotha is standing between Imon and Rono, vs GHKKPM where Virat is between them vs NM, where Saranya (Sai) is between Vikram and Saranya(Pakhi).

I am hoping just like Pakhi that Hindi version will change its storyline after Samrat's track.

Virat is a IPS officer ..... most of all he is human before he is a man . To me showing concern is not concurrent with discipline.

if you want to caution someone or show concern you tell them what your concern is about then caution them about why and how . You do not just order them first and then insult indulge in name calling do all that nonsense and call it showing concern .

You misbehave and do not expect the other person to cave in to your demands ..... like Virat is potrayed to be an IPS officer no less so i will award him some common sense if not normal sense he should know what is happening or what his family is doing to Sai .... also assuming him to be older nearing 30( rounding off here ) he should know right from wrong along with classic definition of abuse .

He should atleast respect the profession he is in before dishing out his families brand of take away food and the person will fall in line ..... if that was the case his entire family and him should starve to death 😬🤬🤯 in other words should never get a chance to eat or get near food ever

@bold this is something even I don’t understand. I have seen elders telling the daughter in laws that ‘he is your husband, he knows better and has the right to point out your wrong and right, and also discipline you’

But I have not seen any elder telling their son/son-in-law the same about their daughter/daughter-in-law.

Why this concept of husband is above a wife and the wife needs to ‘obey’ her husband?

Because according to me, marriage is like a bicycle, where both the wheels need to balance each other out, otherwise it will falter.

I second you... I had expected virat to atleast not behave like a typical mcp... He was shown to be much better than that... Bt unfortunately he too turned out to be the same as any other itv ml's who thinks they can use force to control the lady.

He could have taken her to the their room to have a word with her... Try to make her understand of the potential dangers associated with going alone to have lunch with a man she don't know much about... But then he felt the need to use force to tameez sikhaoing her.

However toxic his family is, he is still an ips officer who has pledged to protect the dignity of citizens which includes his wife too... His idealism and morality is only for outsiders.... Inside the confines of his home, he becomes something else altogether.

Worst part is he didn't even realize his mistakes until his mother came and spoon-fed him about where he went wrong.

He is a pampered kid, who did as he wished without giving a thought for how other person feels. It seems like despite having a sister, mom and kaku, Virat never understood or made efforts to understand girls. He probably never had any friends who are girls due to his family's thinking. Probably never even invited his friends other than Sunny to his home. How did he become friends with Sunny, why not others from his school, college or IPS batch?

Pakhi was the first girl who might have interacted with him and then Sai.

He thinks he knows and understands Pakhi and treats her exactly like his kaku and he probably thinks he can get away with handling Sai like aai. He probably has never met a girl like Sai and doesn't know how to deal with her as she is unpredictable unlike kaku, aai or Pakhi.

He could predict Pakhi's anger at trip cancelation episode, but didn't expect her to make a tamasha. He also doesn't care about what Pakhi is going through and unknowingly encourages her. He was like i dont know about your truth, but I dont have feelings for you. Shouldn't he be curious to know? Or does he know and doesn't want her to say it out loud.

Despite his mom advice of treating Sai with love instead of anger to get things done from her, he didn't listen. Will he remember this incident for next time he is furious and can't think?

It really does bug me that he didnt realise his mistake on his own and needed to be talked into seeing where he went wrong. 🥱
