Sai is the protagonist of this show in my eyes. Shes strong, outspoken and even brash. There has been no show with a strong FL that I've seen where theres a character like Sai who GIVES IT BACK like she does!
yes, she surely is. most of the people got attracted to this show cuz of sai's character only. its unique.
I haven't watched too many itv shows.
But I liked Suman of EKDV 1 and Avni of naamkarann but both of them were older and more mature so even though they were strong, they didnt "answer back" to family. Suman of ekdv 1 would take her maami's taunts and Avni would take neil's mom's taunts. But Sai doesn't. She could be "strong" even if she didnt respond back and walked away but her personality is such that she believes in speaking up. For herself and for others. Whether thats shivani or mohit. And thats refreshing!
i watched EKDV 1, i liked it too.
sai's character is surely refreshing. when we see an educated, smart and independent girl taking all taunts and behave like abla naari 'just cuz she is married' is what i dont like at all. i left watching the show that i was totally in love with cuz of the same reason. our parents tell us that girls needs to get educated and be independent only then we will get the respect that we deserve after marriage, because unlike TV shows, real life men at some point starts to think that as the 'wife' is dependent on them, chahe woh jaise bhi behave kare, she wont ever leave him and family as they think that the wife has no life if she crosses ghar ka dehleez and mainly if she is uneducated.
unfortunately, even after being educated and being independent these TV shows makes it seem like a girl can be a aadash bahu only when she no talk back to elders., always listen to their taane and husband's zorr on the name of love. makes it seem look like no matter how educated we are eventually all girls life is going to be like that. inlawas ke taane sunna, husband ke torture and zorr sehna and all of that which is soo sad.how educated or anything an ITV bahu is most of shows show them like an abla naari, who sits and cries on her kismat but takes kaali roop only when something happens to parivaar and pyaar. 🤪
abhi if sai behaves like them then chavans usse kaccha chabajaayenge.
Because she doesn't feel "obliged" to conform to any norms. If she doesn't like a behavior or someone's tone or action she will just say it outright. But they are currently showing her as someone who has no filter and will lose her "aapaa" in her outrage. So then people get focused on her behavior rather than her message. So in time, i do want to see her evolve where she becomes more smart about what she says and how she says it. I don't want her personality to change- i want to see her continue to speak up but i want to see the influence of virat/aai/pulkit and just age/experience making her the person who will still always raise her voice but in a smart manner. Shes shown as an aspiring doctor who is the state topper. So she's extremely intelligent. And with virat-pp shes also from GC days been extremely perceptive. Infact even before virat told her, Sai KNEW the relationship between virat-pp just like Ashwini. So such an intelligent and perceptive girl will definitely not remain stupid in her approach. She will learn to measure her words. They have shown Sai in the past as someone who is calm under stress (when her dad was injured and in hospital, dad had high bp and unwell) , someone who knows the right buttons to push (the way she made kaku agree to eat food served by her in initial dsys or stay back in CN) so they should show Sai use all those additional skills she has.
i agree👍🏼
