Mujhe to aisa laga like it was a demotion from dost to "family member"😆 I think the demotion from best friend to "friend" happened a while ago after his visit to her house to bring her back. He has stopped thinking of her as "best friend" and reading his "best friends essay" in front of Sai. Actually, his act of getting roses for the whole family after Sai suggested that he should bring a rose for Vahini is a significant indication of what he feels about PP... So, when he even said, "Sab gharwalon ke liye laaya toh tumhare liye kaise nahi laata," Sai even had a smile before leaving the scene.

Also it kind of looked like Sai was surprised with Pakhi's reaction, but pleased with Virat's reply to Pakhi.

Did it feel like Sai was trying to flirt with Virat here? He liked her accepting rose as well as her smile and blushing at door baar diya.

I think she's being playful since Ashwini's positive brainwashing about "pyaar and parvaah"... she's become more aware about his actions and she's observing him a lot more than she did earlier. So I also think she's becoming 'attentive' to his unspoken words that come out in his actions but then he ends up confusing her with opening his mouth where he should remain silent 🤔

Today he had eyes only for Sai right from when he came home directly to where she was. She was so happy to see him too. No shyness at eyelock in from of Pakhi didi or later when he talked about love, repeated her exact words looking at Sai.

When Ashwini teased him about giving flowers to Sai first, he actually accepted it and blushed. No presence or protests

I didn't understand Sai's mental state. From the past 3 episodes (convo with Pulkit, and asking Virat to get Pakhi a rose) it seemed like Sai has accepted the possibility of her failed marriage (and that Virat will always love Pakhi) - but without bitterness and her concern for Virat intact. If so, what does she make of his 'advances' - wrist grabbing, asking if he is lovable.

Or is her heart swayed by despair ...then hope again.

I agree with Raji's point about her accepting the fact that Pakhi is his love and she doesn't feel bitter about it and she genuinely doesn't want to get involved in the relationship at this point although she cannot help feeling drawn and attached. I think Ashwini's conversations have made her realise that Virat does deeply care for her so she's being playful and reciprocating the gestures of care. She's definitely not seeing it as "love" and reminding herself that she has to be cautious and focussed. But at the same time, his presence around her and his attention for her is hard to ignore. I thought that her tears when he was feeding her dinner was a moment where she could not hold back the anguish of the dilemma she's in -- although she spoke about Aaba, but the feelings came from the fact of knowing that Virat has clearly become the man who genuinely cares for her and does appear to be seeking her approval for getting closer (emotionally) but she knows she can't... Yet, when he took it as her disapproval, she held his hand and allowed him to feed her. I think she just wants to live in the moment peacefully -- the little that she can do to give back to him because she has immense gratitude for him. And also, yes, like Raji says @bold , it will be stored in happy memories...

I think he genuinely asked her the question because she was making it seem as if someone mentioned it to her as a 'big deal' that he gave Sai roses in her college. Also, because he knew Sai had asked him to bring roses for PP so it definitely couldn't be Sai bragging about the bouquet to PP. It would have surprised him that she knew and had taken it so bitterly to go with "friends ne IPS officer ko order diya". It was so annoying. PP's "kya fark padta hai" was 'How does it matter who told me, I know. I will always find out when you cheat me, you are my imaginary husband.' But he took it at face value and his "Hmm.. Kya fark padta hai" was "How does it even matter to anyone whether I gave the rose to Sai or not...."

Agree with the above. It's right now only playful harmless touching or physical closeness.
