Maana Kannoon andha hota hain, but that doesn't mean he takes a blind eye to the happenings in his own house.

Its only been blinded to prevent bias , but it openly observes the evidences & witness and arrive at the conclusion.

Don't you think he would have just asked Mohit to leave or did not even know the full truth of situation if Sai was not there or didn't speak up. Its only coz she spoke and was very clear why it is wrong, he was forced to take a stand.
