Great post Janki, as always.

My mood was sombre today. So I looked at the episode with that frame of mind.

Yeh moh moh ke dhaage, teri ungliyon se ja uljhe. Virat was totally mesmerized by Sai throughout.

What I found jarring today:

- he didn't look at Sai once during the pooja. Sai kept looking at him, probably to show her changing nazariya. But it looked a bit off that he didn't look up even once!

- his disbelief that she put Alta for him. I got irritated, so much suspicion of a person who is so straight forward.

- of course, his being touched by the Alta for him. I was glad Sai didn't respond when he asked her about her allergy. What's the use!?

- his annoyed look when she spoke about his family. Isn't it true? She's stating facts. But he doesn't have the guts to deal with the facts.

- of course the famous (in) terrace scene. Definitely force fit into the episode

Points to ponder!

Sai's sudden self consciousness at his physical proximity. Is she getting a sense of attraction towards him? Aai's pyaar wala push making her subconsciously aware. Your excellent para on intimacy comes to mind.

All in all, I didn't enjoy too much though on paper the scenes were sweet. The mood shifts seemed too jerky!

the scene where she asked; aap mere itne nazdeek kyun hai? and even after him explaining why he touched her to wake her up, she was making a deal out of it while it was completely normal. Sai from her conversation with Aai, is very scared thinking about the prospect of falling in love with Virat, a person who doesn't feel an ounce of whatever she supposedly feels for him. And that scene when she woke up showed her internal fears coming out at a high degree, she was low key traumatized and I really felt bad for the poor girl💔

Spot on, it came naturally, because she never sensed it in the past, the feeling is different, may be or what if there is a pyaar word that could potentially come up..But I loved how Virat was cool and giving explanation vs. whats the heck, you are behaving as if I am trying to take advantage of you..lol

Mixed bag episode for me .. what I felt is that virat is not a school boy .. that he will start gazing at sayi during Puja ... there is a mental toughness abd discipline.. so when he sat for Puja .. he sat like the householder .. for him there is no ambiguity.. he has accepted sayi as his wife .. now how he has to bring others in the same page .. his family and his young wife ..

What I loved that there was no dillema .. the looking back at pakhi .. thinking of his Vaada .. the fond memories all that we saw during his wedding .. he has moved on .. He has grown up ..

There was a marked difference in his attitude .. the hesistancy we saw during his wedding is gone .. Men that way are way more practical.. he would have been very happy with pakhi .. but now that he has got sayi .. he is not complaining..and is not looking back at what could have been ..

for virat .. as a man he has been given a rare jewel ( pity his family not appreciating it )

A gorgeous girl who’s witty , brave .. charming personality plus who’s studying to be a doctor .. A high achiever like virat will see the benefits ..

I am not saying Virat has fallen in love with his wife .., no he desires her and finds her suitable for him.. and is not complaining.. His issues are how to make her accept the situation amicably without making him lose face .. how to slip out of that Vaada trap of pakhi .. and be just a friend for her .. how to make his pesky relatives accept sayi .. and be happy about it ..

Now my question is what if sayi was an average looking girl .. what if she was less educated like we are seeing in other soaps ??? Would virat have been so smug ...

It’s time pakhi starts retrospecting what exactly is she doing in the house?? what will she gain out of this .. why is she getting involved in all this mess.. today will be an eye opener for her as she rightly said virat was sayi ka pati in the house..

Sayi getting drawn in Virat’s web .. she’s getting moved .. by all this Puja sindoor Arti .. that’s why she was steeling herself and giving the right replies to virat .. if she melts right now .. and gives in to him.. he will up his ante and start demanding a lot more for himself and his family ..

The way the housemates are behaving no body with any self respect would want to stay on .. virat has to clear the mess and fast ..

today ashwini was good .. very good .. she opened her mouth and said the right things to everybody..

and also he doesn't seem to be confused as he is just reacting weirdly to situations and not really bothered or worried about what's going on with him and his life. and he confidently reacts to situations without any hesitation or confused expressions, which is really weird as he still says sai is his 'wife' and haq jathata hai, order data hai and suddenly says she is his 'zimmedaari' when she or others question him about it. he never ever even wondered ki woh kya kar raha hai and kyun kar raha hai., that's is why hum sab bhi confuse ho rahe hai.🤪

one has to be really dumb to not notice such feelings, all those eye locks, jealousy, using his positional power to scare away a college student and dying to get sai's attention and always thinking about her, even at work.

upar se virat isnt that naive, or this is not even the first time he is having feelings for a girl😆

and he is not even blind to see what pakhi is trying to do or what she wants, she deliberately avoids her questions and actions.

at least if he pays attention to half on the things people say he would be known by now and thought about these things. like when ashwini said 'sai ko samajdaar hone do thab wahi iss ghar ki sab se acchi and zimmedaar bahu banegi' he should have easily thought about ki 'thab thank sai ki padai poori hogai tho woh ghar se chalijaayegi' or 'she isn't real bahu or his wife' ayisa kuch tho sochna chahiye na like sai thought about 'if she loves virat and slapped herself with that thought'.

virat sab kuch jaankar bhi anjaan ban raha hai, ayise mein uska kuch nay hosakta.

So he is aware of his growing feelings towards Sai, his needs, his jealousy but his actions are all over the place? He is not addressing his insecurities, nor taking a step forward in the relationship due to fear of rejection nor realizing that his vaada is the biggest hurdle between them. Instead when he is overpowered with these needy feelings or jealousy, he starts to direct that frustration on Sai? Phir bhi ....ACP has the IQ of Mr.Bean 🤣
