The conversation between Sai and Aai was beautiful. It touched on so many things. Sai openly told Ashwini that she thinks pp-virat are in love with each other. But Ashwini is trying to show her that Virat cares for Sai and is in love with her. And ashwini knows best. She can read what virat feels for Sai which Virat himself has not realized yet.

I hope that she has a one on one with virat too where she tells him how Sai believes virat loves pp and is not open about her care/affection for him because she is safeguarding her heart.as a wife the worst thing is to know that your husband only thinks of you as a "bojh" and doesn't love you. She cant afford to be in love with someone who she thinks perceives her as ONLY a farz and zimmedari. Sai unfortunately cant read only his actions, she needs spasht words! She thinks that every caring gesture of virat is out of sympathy or a sense of responsibility. Until he clarifies that he is trying to make their marriage work she will not take a step forward. Or it'll be one step forward, 2 steps back. Virat needs to reassure her that he does not love pp.

I also loved how Sai is talking to aai about all the patriarchal rasams in our culture. Puja, vrat sab aurat hi rakhe! Pati kyun nahi rakhte. I used to ask the same thing! And she raised so many valid points. Sai is definitely a proud feminist ♥️ aai tried to explain it. But this whole explanation of "women have higher tolerance and strength" therefore its ok to treat them badly/ ok for women to take on all this responsibility is utter crap.

In medical school in internship I remember they used to have us work inhumane hours liie 36 hour shifts saying "what doesnt kill you makes you sttonger" but thats just such a horrible way to pass on toxicity and claim its character building! And just because its been going on for so many years doesn't mean it needs to continue. I think Ashwini is one of those people who has the right ideals and thoughts but does not have the conviction to challenge the status quo unlike Sai. Ashwini agreed with Sai but said " aise hi hota aaya hai aur aage aise hi hoga!" Very defeatist attitude sadly! :(

Virat is getting provoked tomm as per precap but thankfully Ashwini will calm him down enough to see Sai's pov. I'm a little upset that Virat jumps to conclusions as usual without caring to listen to his wife. If it wasn't for Ashwini being a voice of reason there'd be an encore of the high voltage screaming from last week during shivani saga. When virat know that his "dil ke acche" family gang up on Sai , how is so easily swayed by them?

I think until Sai heard the part about alta rasam being for welfare of family and virat she didn't care to do it but after that she decided to apply it and take an allergy medication too. But i guess Sai didn't tell the family and just continued with her dialoguebaazi because she knows they always find fault with her. If she had told them, they would have still ridiculed her for changing her mind or gloated over successfully bullying her into doing their bidding. But i hope Virat learns that Sai not only agreed to apply alta for his welfare but also took an allergy medication and was willing to put herself in "discomfort" for his sake. Maybe not life-threatening anaphylaxis (that'd be stupid!) but she is willing to risk having contact dermatitis for his sake! It shows that she does care. She's not very expressive about the fact that she cares and always looks for a reason to "pick a fight" with him but really she respects and adores Virat and is definitely grateful to him for his support.

I want to see a follow up scene where despite taking the antihistamine Sai does have some skin issues and Virat helps her and feels guilty and realizes that its not cool to "emotionally blackmail" a woman to do things in the name of riwaaz. Ye sab riti-riwaaz ke liye, aur Virat ke liye despite having allergy Sai is applying alta. Allergy may only be mild but it's deliberate self-inflicted discomfort. Larger point is that- Kya ye alta rasam se prove hoga whether Sai cares for Virat or not?! Isnt that silly...I hope virat realizes that no woman should be forced into doing things that coukd cause potential harm just for the sake of her husband. Even an educated and stubborn girl like Sai has been swayed into doing something against her will just because she thinks the potential benefits (abstract concept of virat and family welfare) > risks ( objective things like having itching, redness, skin issues due to contact dermatitis!

It would be stupid if he swayed one way w/o listening to the entire side of the story..I hope Virat atleast asks her why she refused first or someone tells him..like mohit or someone ..or tells him the physical abuse she went through bc i think in his eyes, these people can do no wrong ..

Yes I love Ashwini a d sai scenes. Ashwini explains things to sai patiently. I think sai will do everything if you tell her in a nice way. When everyone forces a d screams at her she don’t want to do that. Yes Virat has to verbally tell her that he loves her otherwise she is always going to think he loves Pakhi. My heart breaks when I see a 18 year old girl has to go through in the civilized, mannered chawan niwas🤦‍♀️😇😇. Kaku don’ t have any job other than screaming and ordering everyone.

I think we know eventually he will listen to Sai and see for himself that she did apply alta and calm down.

But i think the precap clearly shows that he is easily provoked by family to think that Sai is throwing tantrums and he believes them even if it is for a few minutes. That definitely bothers me. Ashwini is asking him to talk to Sai and allow her a chance to explain. So if not for ashwini and in this case- the objective evidence that sai has alta on her feet this could have easily escalated into Virat not believing Sai and getting angry at Sai. Virat in precap said "Alta jaisi chhoti cheez ke liye mana kyu kiya". Why does virat assume that applying Alta is a chhoti cheez?Will virat still think its a chhoti cheez/insignificant thing if Sai has an allergic contact dermatitis. Just coz its not a life threatening thing or something that will require hospitalization etc, is it ok to knowingly put oneself at risk for self harm.

Ok then I really want sai to develop some kind of allergic reaction for virat to know that why she was refusing in the beginning, because I know she won't be telling him complete side of her story. Also, virat should know that she undertook to harm herself for his/family's well being.
