Sorry this same track I had seen in savdhan india & crime patrol where female IPS officer trapped an fraudster in such way . She unrevealed this fraudster before his own family , she did managed to collect all wealth from that fraudsters , returned it to d women this fraudsters tricked.

Female IPS officer did manage to get hold of all women location this fraudster tricked. In d end those ladies did beated that fraudsters

So I don't underestimate police force who definitely know how to work as their r trained to do so .

She empowered two women who were probably going to victimise themselves for being cheated upon. She gave them their confidence back.

i think this track was needed for following reasons.

1) pakhi ki respect virat ke nazron mein kam ho rai hai. we saw him telling pakhi that 'aaj sai ne jo kiya woh tumhe karna chahiye tha'

2) kaku and gang ki alsli chehra thoda sa tho virat will see, virat will see ki sai chahe kuch bhi kare, chahe woh sahi hi q na ho kaku and gang are never happy, they are always taunting sai. (i have read this in hotstar under kusum dola episodes)

3) virat and sai's realtion is getting stronger. sab sirf yeh dekh rahe hai ki jagda kithna ho raha hai but no one is seeing ki virat and sai's relationship is geting stronger with all this, virat got to know about sai now, he got to know that sai can go to any extent to save her loved ones.

4) his anger, all this shouting and all this is just upar upar ka gussa and kuch his dil ke baatein, we can clearly see that virat is soo proud of his wife now, he is just upset cuz of 'gharelu jagde' between family and wife. and this is common in even real life cases where pati naahi patni ko samja paata hai aur naahi pariwaar waalon ko. its just that he don't like her 'shouting'

5) he knows that what she did is right but was risky, here also it is about caring. he cares for her and she is only thinking this much that she promised to prove shivani's innocence so she will have to take the risk and do it, but virat didn't want to do risky stuff like that.

Agree with all of them. The main point was for Virat to see Pakhi's face and strengthening the relationship of Sai and Virat.

IMO, this plan was not needed. The plan had so many loopholes. I was confused when Sai was talking in the car with Amey. Amy was talking bad about Shivani and Kaku and the gang got more reasons to humiliate Shivani. What was the purpose of that conversation . It's such a shame if they show Indian police iA incapable of handling such a simple case. .

Keeping the logic aside, I liked some of the scenes which we git due to the plan, Virat getting jealous.

It was mainly for Shivani bua (and along with her Savitha didi).

Shivani is now heartbroken and lost confidence on herself and that allowed the family to kind of treat her the same way they treated Devi by taking away her freedom and ask her to stay in her room.

By doing this, not only does Shivani get closure with Amay, it will help her go back to being her old self.

Ofc Virat would have arrested Amay and taught him a good lesson, but Shivani couldn't have been able to confront him or get this kind of confidence back.
