Virat's intentions

Why is virat stopping sai from moving to a hostel?... If sai moves to hostel, everyone will be happy… she will be able to focus on her studies completely… chawans will be more than happy to get rid of her… PP toh will be on cloud nine to have gotten rid of her imaginary sautan…. Ashwini, shivani and devi will be sad… But they can be convinced.. Even though sad, ashwini will let sai go if its for her own good…. Even virat will be saved from the daily drama in the living room… so what could be the reason that he is stopping her?.. Why does he except her to win over his family members?

The only reason is virat himself… he is stopping her for himself not for any other reasons… He is not ready to accept it but he is so used to her presence in his life that he is not able to imagine it without her…. Once sai leaves the house, she is not coming back to that zoo again… virat knows that very well…. He couldn’t sleep when she went to usha maushi’s room… at that time she was atleast in the same house…. This time he won’t have that privilege too….. There’s also a possibility of sai liking some guy in her college… she’s young intelligent and beautiful…. Definitely some guy will show interest in her…. Their marriage is only a deal… they’ve promised to not keep any expectations from each other… so she can fall in love with any guy….. Virat wont have any rights to question her… These things are making him restless to no end…. He couldn’t handle that fake flirting she did with amay… then how is he gonna handle her falling for someone else…. All that virat wants is sai to get along with his family so that she wont feel the need to go… ever…. He thinks if the family starts liking her they wont let her go either… 5 years is a long time for people to get attached with each other… so he thinks sai and his family will get along in these five years and after that she wont be able to leave…. He has left that zimmedari thing behind already.. PP is almost non existent to him… sai is the one that matters.

Instead of going round and round, he should let her know how he feels… tell her that he doesn’t consider this marriage a deal anymore… He wants to make genuine efforts towards her…. Sai is very young to understand these things all by herself…. Virat should tell her about his true feelings... Nadi dates and dinner plans won’t do the job… because sai still thinks he is doing all these things out of 'farz'.

@bold LOL this reminded me of how he was saying that "mey jilebi ki jaise ghumake bath nehi karta". I gotta say amidst their fights, I cracked up when he said that.

Virat himself said he doesn't want to let Sai go because he wants to be part of her success. Bechara is just too conflicted with his feelings.

Initially I did want Virat to realize that what he feels towards Sai is more than duty and what he has towards Pakhi is just guilt.

But frankly now I feel.

Virat should have never married Sai.

He knew how his family is. In all these years they haven’t treated his mother right and he hasn’t stood up for her Sans a few times. He knows Pakhi is in that house as well. (Though he may have not known her this side before), he knew thanks to his stupid kasam, she would get hurt.

Then what is the point of subjecting an 18 year old to this everyday torture? And Pakhi is such a loser, she doesn’t have the guts to sort her life, n hold Virat n herself accountable for all the mess, goes around troubling Sai and instigating people against her. (From which angle is she matured or disciplined?, I wouldn’t wish her on anyone including Samrat)

How is Sai supposed to study amid all this toxicity?

I don’t think Kamal sir wanted this for his daughters future when he took the promise from Virat. He wanted her to be safe and secure and make her dream true. Not sit fighting for basic rights and respect among a bunch of lunatics. Who lack empathy, sympathy n basic decency that they can’t see that this 18 year old just lost her father, who died saving your son.

Virat could have avoided marring her.

He could have very well gotten her admitted to hostel and took care of her studies, till she could pay him back.

He also knew how Sai is as a person. She would never take insults lying down, nor should she.
No one should be subjected to what Sai is being.

If this is how the show is going to progress with shouting matches everyday, I am gonna avoid it. It’s anxiety inducing.

Yes... He could have taken her responsibility without marrying her... Initially he had no plans of marrying her. It was situations and virat's own guilt which led to the marriage happening.... After marriage he tried to protect sai for a long time... But now this daily and never ending drama is taking a toll on him... On top of that his insecurities regarding sai.... He should atleast think that if he can't handle this much drama then how he expects sai who is much younger to endure so much... There's only so much a person can take.

In today's episode I realised one thing.... All of them lack communication. All of them. Sai is Frank and speaks her mind but also doesn't speak clearly about what exactly the chavans say to her. She rants out but she forgets virat always makes his entry after chavans are done with threatening her. So he doesn't see the full picture and obviously supports his family.

Ashwini also expects Virat to always support Sai but even then she doesn't share what vile things the family call Dai behind his back.

Virat always sees half picture and assumes Sai could easily diffuse the situation by keeping quiet which obviously ain't happening. And since he is always half out of loop of what's truly going on he is frustrated.

It's frustrating to even tune in the show and all you see is one character screaming or accusing other 24*7.

Ashwini should have a talk with her son regarding herself as well as things going on in the family. She should also rightfully ask him to stop considering PP so dear even when he already has a wife! If he ever expects to truly bond with Sai. I am surprised why she hasn't done it till now tbh.

And I don't get it for a righteous person like Virat how can he just keep quiet when seeing his family calling Sai stupid names.🤷

He didn't want to marry Sai... especially when she said"ye dunia ke aakhri ladke bhi honge na..to bhi main inse shaadi nahin karoongi". But kake kaka ans all so called "family members" kind of forced him to think over the decision of marrying her. Then also he mentioned that his family was very traditional and they won't agree to it...he got blown by that zimmedari n farz thing that he even dreamt of rescuing Sai out of the puddle n breaking his chains of vaada.

But when the decision of marrying Sai was taken he didn't take a step back from performing all rituals right from haldi till mangalsutra tying with full acceptence from within....

From then onwards, he has been constantly trying to make this relation work n to make Sai feel comfortable. He also gave her the freedom to talk back only with the clause of taking care as to whom she is speaking to..the "lehzaa".

That has been main point from the starting itself ..but now this blowing out of proportion arguments n loosing his cool is a sign of his helpness ness n his sense of failure to make Sai understand his family and vice versa..

Not Virat Sir's fault totally sirf situations aise hain ki woh majboor hain..totally my feelings..

I agree with you. It's not totally Virat's fault and it's never the fault of one person only in any relationship. If a relationship doesn't work between two people it's wrong to blame the either partner. So, I guess Sai too is to be equally blamed since she never tries to confide in him, but is always ready to take the plunge without thinking twice.

That is what is called immaturity in Sai. She was always like that. But Virat didnt think it will cause so much heartburn in his family. She was and is doing all the work before or after college etc. But no, they keep provoking her. She isnt the silent types and Virat telling her to understand is just going down the drain.

If she was only immatured still that would have been solved. But, at times she's very stubborn. She doesn't accept her fault easily. When Sayi got lost while returning back after her college admission inspite of Virat asking her to hold his hand, at that time too she wasn't ready to accept that it was her mistake. Now, too it's the same thing. Her stubbornness is taking a toll on Virat and not her. I know many won't agree, but Sayi too does make mistakes.
