Like Janki rightly points out, Sai's tone overshadows the point of her argument but its also Virat who fails to put his foot down. There are so many accusations against Sai which were made right in front of him but he did not dare defend her.

These guys need to talk it out and start working as a team because Sai is starting to feel lonely and Virat seems fail miserably in keeping her out of this toxic environment. Probably because he doesn't really see this as toxicity.

Agreed, Sai needs some of Virat's calm and he a little bit of her flare😆

Sai did go a bit overboard in the room agreed hopefully she reflects on this and reacts better next time.

Regarding being rude to elders I agree that it is something not acceptable irrespective of the reasons but here I genuinely believe that the "elders" have done nothing to expect any respect from Sai and they don't even behave in a way that is respectable for their age. They don't have to like her but they go out of their way to pick on her and interfere in her affairs especially when they don't even want to acknowledge or accept her as their daughter in law.

I also think there was jealousy in the first scene. Maybe there was more protectiveness, but there was definitely jealousy - his repetition of baby, baby was evidence. Moreover, he said he does not like her talking to Amey, or any other man in such a way, this was a give away from me.
