There is a difference in addressing and accepting the relationship. Until now, I was thinking maybe Sai has not accepted the relationship and the changes that come with it. But now after reading your comment, maybe Virat is escaping as well.

He wears the cloak of zimmedari and is hoping his expectations from Sai, his wife, remain hidden. He is trying to bury his dreams of married life but they are coming out anyways and he is unable to understand why or how. No matter what, he is a grown man who had initially made plans to marry someone he likes and have a normal life. He did really marry the girl he fell in love with but I am sure he still has those husbandly expectations (may or may not include physical intimacy).

He seemed so done with all the drama and to his credit he did try and explain to Sai in a nice way but Sai wasn't ready to listen either but still it just looked like a normal pati-patni having differences fight.

On top of everything Virat seems to have pre concieved notions that only Sai is capable of badtameezi without any trigger which is not right, agreed that he was not there for the entirety of the chilli peesna and even today's living room scene but both the times he had his own opinion on Sai's behaviour than anything else.

I agree that it is not so easy to accept one's own family's flaws especially if you have grown up under their wing and while idolising some of them.

I have a different view today. I know he didn't hear the dialogues and he didn't see Ninad raisin his hand, which would have totally riled him up but the fact is that he knows the family is ganging up. He doesn't find it 'torture' yet because it's covered as purane khayalato Ka clash. And he knows Sai is reacting and he doesn't want her to appear to be the bully

What Sai and Virat need right now is to communicate openly without a third person however I think we definitely need one third person to open her mouth. I want Ashwini to speak to Virat tell him what happened in his absence both the times this in no way would be filling his ears against the family but providing the much needed perspective. If she continues to stay quiet and let Virat see one side of the picture then the relationship she is rooting for and hoping to grow would crumble even before it begins.

Totally agree about Ashwini. She's just disappointing me. She needs to talk to Virat separately. He still doesn't know what happened at the mahabhoj. Ashwini told Shivani but not Virat. However, I guess she will try to intervene tomorrow but Virat will already go ballistic.

I feel that after watching the episode thus far both are wrong in their own ways although I could definitely see that Virat's outburst wasn't momentary but something simmering from the previous night.

I actually enjoyed the fight it wasn't like anything I was dreading, in fact they asked each other some hard hitting questions! "Who are you to give me suggestions and why do I need to follow them?"

I am now looking forward to the make up 😆(still any reference to Aaba's upbringing is enexcusable irrespective of the reason)

It turned out to be a typical husband wife fight and yes, apart from the Aaba part, I don't even feel Virat will say something more than his roaring Bass Sai. He is only going to tell her to hold her reaction but I also see that he's going to stand up and shut anyone questioning her character for the Amey episode. Even the Aaba part, if he's making any kind of logical reference to Kamal Joshi it's fine. Not 'parvarish' word for sure.

Sai's plan is dicey and I felt Virat's annoyance at her plan is not because of jealousy but because of certain words that he heard that acted like a mirror (Don't I deserve love too) and well he is a freaking police officer he knows how guys like Amey think and act but well Sai is an ITV bahu at the end of the day so no matter how hair brained the plan is it'll end up working.

He has still not heard about how she told him about the Gadchiroli se 30 lakh Lene jaana hai. Warna he would have literally held her and shaken her up am sure 🤣

Coming to Sai, I am not sure if I can call her entirely wrong but if I were to borrow Janki's analogy she definitely put her hand in the centre right where the kichdi is hottest. Yes she was being targeted and in fact a lot of her words irrespective of the tone were a reflection of how lonely and cornered she was feeling because of the so called "Ghar ke Bade" it was heartbreaking, however she can't challenge everyone and everything at the same time because the actual issue would be lost in the chaos and clutter of the noise.

Frankly, I didn't like her indulging in this verbal upmanship today. There was no need. She knows well how they are going to take the Amey episode. She should have avoided this unnecessary stress by just royally ignoring the rubbish from Kaku.

Was it just me or did anyone else feel that Paakhi had one look at Virat entering the Arena and decided to butt in to contribute to the chaos?

Yes she did. Because she knew Sai had not registered that Virat had arrived. But I don't think Virat got instigated as much as annoyed that what he was expecting about family launching an assault at Sai was coming true

Isn't this has been Virat's stand whenever his "Best friend" was involved.

Even she has reacted and Virat has ignored her reactions considering she is just a kid.
