But that terrace scene was actually good. I mean they were spending time together, Virat would make her coffee Copy karle toh atleast ek accha Sairat moment hi mil jaata. Copy kar hi rahe toh acchi scenes copy karlete. Jaise exam main copy karna hai toh sahi answer kare toh hi faayda hai, galat answer copy karke kya faayda! 🙄😂

So i was curious what was next in Tam version. So i skimmed quickly to the 2 episodes in Tam version and the next scene is Sai standing up to some college seniors, meeting her professor who immediately notuces her spark and also is immediately curious about why she looks married and he appears to have connection to Devi Tai (lost husband). And she faces taunts about wasting bijli ka bill because of studying! So she goes to terrace in anger and sits out in cold studying. Virat finds her and finds out the taunts she heard and is upset but is trying to manaofy and take her back to the room. But in front of her stubbornness eventually sits by her spending time and then even makes tea/ coffee for her because she mentioned how her father used to support her when she pulled all nighters to study and i think the "karishma" character of the show ruins their moment by pointing out that virat used to chat with pp like this after coming back from work. Because shaadi ke time toh voh beech main chala gaya and he came back from GC married to Sai. Unless they want us to assume that even after marriage pp- virat have been having "late night chats" . If thats so, its kinda disgusting. Dosti ke kuch boundaries hoti hai. But poor Sai cant question it or state that it makes her uncomfortable because if she does Virat will go back to questioning why shes affected which will only cause more hurt. Anyway after his "pyaar...dosti" slip up Sai has learnt that its best to avoid bringing up PP and hurting herself.

The show isnt following the tamil version right?

Yeah he should say this that he contributes to the electricity of the house so his wife has the right to use electricity for studying.

From all the analysis I have read on this forum, the Bengali version is more regressive than the Tamil version. I think we can safely say the Hindi version will follow the Bengali version 🤪

Hamare India mei North se south jaaate jaate, regression kam hota jaata hai.
don’t worry guys I am not bashing north india, Hindi is my mother tongue 😜😄

Actually Tamilians are generally too conservative for the Shivani bua BF track - the audience there will not accept a bf for a positive female character, in fact any middle aged lady single or divorced with bf will never be viewed as positive by the ultra conservative south audience. Thats why the heroine wears sarees no matter how young - married women never shown in salwar suit or western dress in Tamil shows. In fact dress is a string motif for vampiness - the vampy bahu will invariably be shown in salwar suit and the ‘other woman’ in western attire.

So while south shows tend to be less regressive in some ways they are very traditional & conservative settings.

Looks like they ended it only coz the ML wanted to quit the show.

So they closed all loops and finished the story with a happily ever after wala ending.

Otherwise maybe it could have gone Bengali way, who knows.

Most 8 pm star plus shows dont last more than 2 years, so am hoping for a better execution.
