I remember when I was 19-20 I thought I knew everything. The world was twisted and I could fight and fix it. I still do what I want to but I have perspective now. Sai will get the perspective as she grows.

Yes I remember my teens, didn't we all think we know everything and are smarter than the rest🤣.

I am okay with writers showing her brashness now because she has no one in the world and this is her way of protecting herself. She will probably open up and we see growth in her character in upcoming episodes, which is why I was checking if the regional shows showed this gradual change.

Also in most shows its ML who is angry young man, jumps to conclusions and shouts and the FL running behind him trying to 'heal' or change him.

So this is definitely refreshing, but the only reason I am doubtful is because I dont trust ITV writers. Sometimes they lack the female perspective.

As refreshing as Sai is, she is also a bit trope-y. You're right. I've not seen a non-doormat but also a non-shouty yet logical FL till now. Except for maybe Swadheenta Ramakrishnan from Dahleez. I don't know how many of you've watched it but she was just so enigmatic! Absolutely loved her.

I haven't seen Dahleez, but I just read the summary and it seems interesting.

Even Suman Tiwari of both the EDKV seasons , Sonakshi Bose of KRPKAB , Alia of Beintehaa , Naina of YUDKBH ( even if it was of 90's they have shown her character growth immensely well ) and last but not the least Palak of Dil hi to hai

@Bold- They lack perspective in general but I get your point. It is a TRP game and I have made my peace with that over a decade ago.

@Blue- They are nice role reversal.

Because I still love that show and watch it here and there.

It is quite refreshing as compared to daily soaps.

Yes! Rewatched during the lockdown. Swadheenta and Adarsh (love at first sight aside) had one of the most realistic relationships. She was just too good. Never became a mahaan FL, loved how she stood up for her family.

Yaar first episode kahan se dhekun? Hotstar has only episode 2 onwards and it felt like I missed many things. I started from ep 2 today and its interesting so far.

Acha, first episode nahin hai? Youtube par bhi nahin hai. But nothing very important happened. Just Swa+Adarsh meet for the first time, he goes gaga. Later on Asad and Swadheenta are chased by a few goons. Swadheenta by mistake dials his number. Him being an IAS officer threatens the goons by saying he knows all their info. In the last scene Adarsh comes but Asad and Swadheenta think it's a gunda and throw chilly powder on his face.
