Yes Bhavani recognized Sai's strength and she definitely started considering it because she's not the one who survives like an ordinary family member in the house. She's clearly assessing what would be the consequences. Anyhow Sai isn't the person who keeps up with the tune someone plays. So tough times ahead for Kaku and her train of nakalchi bandars.

Bhavani somewhere senses the kind of person Sai is and has understood this girl is not going to take any crap lying down.

I think people like Bhavani usually rule over people due to their fear and weakness. The more everyone keeps quite,the more she tries to suppress everyone. She understood that Sai is not someone who will keep quiet.

Yes, that's why Strength respects strength. When you bend over for someone that person will also trample upon you.

Also I feel, after Sai has come the atmosphere has changed in the house. Ashwini who never spoke against her is taking matter into her own hands not giving two hoots about it. The house is almost divided into two teams, one against Sai and One with Sai. And she is slowly loosing her grip over the family. If she had let Sai go, ek toh Virat would have gone with her and them Ashwini would have turned more and more bitter as well as strong. Moreover even other people might have opposed her.

She didn't want to lose the grip- I totally agree. Because somewhere she is aware that her authority will stay only when everyone is in the house. Mind you, even Bhavani is no walkover. She is going to strike back but in a different way. Will be interesting to watch when she picks up her pawns, the most likely is PP.

Still I did find her reaction surprising because I never thought she would give much bhaav to Sai leaving the house as Bhavani didn't want to accept her in first place. They could have executed it a bit differently

It was way to quick but it was also because at the end of the day, she knew that it wasn't such a big battle to fight. There needs to be a reason worthy enough to allow Sai to leave so that Virat can be convinced of it as well. Right now, the rigidity would only push Virat away from the family as well. I know we didn't not see her making those calculations but the way Virat supported Sai when she spoke up was a clear indicator that he would leave the house for something as silly as not allowing Sai to serve food. The game has just begun and Bhavani won't go down without a fight either.

Eventually she will see her as that, I think. Because very few people in the house are honest to her. Most of them live in either fear or due to their dependence on her. Sai wants nothing from her and doesn't fear her and so doesn't feel the compulsion to please her or lie to be in her good books. With time, Bhavani will realise the honesty and accept Sai
